Arijit’s long run was only because his compition Atif Aslam was eliminated because all Pakistani artists were kicked outta Bwood due the conflict between the .2 countries 8 or 10 yrs ago.

These songs are good but these are not nostalgic ones.. A list dominated by Arijit and his comparatively recent songs can't be considered nostalgic .. Arijit has rose to fame around 10 years ago.. Before that Sonu Nigam ruled and many other singers rise to prominence like mohit chauhan, javed ali,atif aslam.. Then we had sukhwinder, kailash kher, shankar mahadevan for particular genres.. And of course our beloved kk , lucky ali and adnan sami.. Before that udit narayan and kumar sanu ruled.. Sonu, shaan, udit, kumar sanu, abhijeet, alka, adnan sami, kk, lucky ali, anuradha, chitra, spb and songs of first decade of 2000 gives that nostalgic feeling..
