Corey Feldman was asked about his work on this film and he said it was an easy paycheck for him. He doesn't think highly of the film, but said he enjoyed singing and ad libbing with Dom DeLuise. Also, Irene Cara was the voice of Marilyn. There's also another English dub of this film that has lower quality, but the voice actors try harder and it has a lot less noise and dialogue. Also, Columbus did not discover the world was round. True heliocentrism hadn't caught on in Europe at the time, but people figured the world was round long before Columbus came along. A lot of Greek, Indian and Muslim scholars had calculated the Earth's circumference and, surprisingly, they were pretty close. Columbus wasn't some bold revolutionary standing against an ignorant, superstitious society. He made bad calculations based on inaccurate maps, assumed the distance between western Europe and Asia was a third of what it actually is, and his discovery of that "new world" was purely by chance. And he committed such atrocities against the natives, it shocked even his supporters.
