So if you noticed: There are actually 2 bands on stage: Di-rect and Kensington in an event "The Friends of Amstel" (Beer-brand) that organizes unusual collabs between bands and singers. 2 drum sets, a bunch of guitar guys, 2 singers, a double wammy 🙂 Last song: Robbie Williams - Angels (He has a very successful career solo after being in Take That - (Boy band) )

Both bands, both 'Kensington' and 'DI-RECT' are renowned Dutch bands, each with great songs. It's so cool that for this friends concert two bands wanted to merge with this amazing result, together with an extra 40-piece orchestra and choir (By the way, since this is only for "Friends of Amstel Live" this is the wrong drink, you should advertize Amstel Beer here) - Nirvana - Smells Like Teen Spirit - Queen - We Will Rock You / Oasis - Wonderwall - Blur - Song 2 - Rage Against the Machine - Killing in the Name Of - Robbie Williams - Angels

I was at this concert just a few days the world closed due to covid.. it was an awesome concert, love the killing in the name performance with the orchestra! Still brings back goosebumps! Ps last song was Angels of Robbie Williams Thx for reacting 🎤🎸🎶💜

In The Netherlands we believe more in collaboration over competition. There's two complete successful bands on stage, an orchestra and a choir and they all work together and are so involved in giving the best experience to the audience. As a suggestion and example the band 'Epica' with the song 'Sancta Terra' with the Dutch Floor Jansen as guest singer.

About 25 years ago was the first edition of this annual event, sponsored by a beer brand (Amstel), in which many Dutch artists and bands in all kinds of genres perform together several nights for a very enthusiastic audience.

Angels by Robbie Williams(UK singer), was one of the greatest hits in the early 2000’s here in Europe. Sadly for him, he never had a breakthrough in the USA. These two bands Kensington (from the singer with the black cap) & Di-Rect (from the singer with the double sun glasses), are probably the greatest bands currently in the Netherlands. You should really check out their own songs.

This is such an energetic performance.. Great colab, as they really complement each other And yeah, the curly singer is from Di-Rect and the guy with the beanie is the singer of Kensington. Rest of both bands are also on stage, which is why it’s so crowded on there

Vrienden van Amstel (Friends of Amstel (Beer brand)) is a yearly event where lots of Dutch artists collaborate to create magnificent shows several nights in a row. This year's 25th edition had 20 shows. Just search for Vrienden van Amstel to be amazed 😉

Great reaction ❤ It’s so nice to see the apriciation for those two great Dutch bands and their singers. It gives me goossbumps watching this over and over again. I’m Dutch and I want to mention the effort That’s put in the whole concept. I’m a Humble person but I’m proud of all the Dutch organisations of the concerts and also of the dance scène for the stage, lights and sound for making spectaculair shows. The Dutch have a lot of experience making spectaculair shows. By saying that please Watch Davina Michelle (a Dutch singer who became populair by P!nk doing a reaction of a cover of O!f P!nk own songs) at the Eurovision songfestival in the Netherlands 2022. She performs as guest artist in the Euro content with the song sweet water. The special effects are amazing. Thank you Guys!
