I just really love to be in Hisui. Countless hours I was just wandering around, watching the Pokémon doing their animations, chilling in the village. Legends: Arceus is just such a good vibe.

This game is just so special. It’s so different from every other Pokémon game and how fun it was. All the memories of exploring, the difficult battles, and just how much FUN it is. Truly something special, I hope this isn’t the end of the legends games.

i can't believe this game is 2 years old already. i think you nailed this assessment. Legends took parts of that nostalgia and familiarity in the setting, but innovated with new methods of play and tweaks to the familiar Sinnoh setting itself. great vidya

Back in 2007 I had just gotten a DS Lite with a copy of Diamond for my birthday. I was at a swim meet playing it and I met two other kids on my team and learned they also liked Pokemon. We’re still best friends to this day and get together every time a new Pokemon game releases. These games truly changed my life for the better ❤

The heartwood was one of my favourite parts, Felt magical to remember Pokémon diamond from when I was a kid

Platinum was my first game & honestly Legends Arceus as a remake for Gen 4 is what that generation was all about. Changes to the core gameplay formula (Physical/Special split) & deep lore in the pokemon themselves, sprinkled with the best music in the whole franchise. Great video, so nice to hear others nostalgia for the generation.

I love legends arceus, I cant believe it’s been 2 years since it came out. On the topic of this game, they really nailed it with the nostalgia factor. Most of the music is remixed versions of DPP music, some characters being related to characters we saw in previous pokemon games, and Sinnoh lore and worldbuilding be expanded upon. I also love the battle mechanics and exploration part of the game. It really makes me come back and touch the game. Overall I sometimes wish I could experience this game for the first time again

Legends Arceus was the game that got me back to playing pokemon games. I’m technically a newer fan of the games since the first game I finished was Pokemon Sun. And sword/shield didn’t really entice me to finish right away. I loved exploring the open world, being able to dodge attacks, and exploring with my pokemon in Arceus. I admit I wasn’t into the random encounters like in the older games. And the world exploration this game and Scarlet/Violet had felt more like I imagined the pokemon games were like growing up.

I just discovered your channel and have been binging watching your 24hr videos and is getting me through my day to day at work. You have such a great vibe and nostalgic in a way, thank you for being your genuine self, I can tell right away that I’m staying indefinitely :)

The art style is unmatched

One thing about this Arlie is watching you play. This really made me realize this is a shiny hunters game for sure because after you even beat the game or before you really can just explore and catch whatever you want what a fun concept but it’s actually more immersive I took that for granted with this game thank you for making me realize that. lol

The sinnoh leitmotifs were transcendent istg, the indigo disk gave me the same feeling with its music and THAT's why I want legends unova so bad

Earlier this month, I was finally able to complete the Pokedex after playing the game on and off after completing the main story. Soon after I was able to defeat and receive Arceus and I felt very proud for completing that objective, the battle against was especially difficult. I have fond memories of catching Pokemon and just enjoying the vibes the game presented and I'll always remember it for that.

I just started playing and have been enjoying it. Catching is relly fan and made me feel like kid agen. I'm alredy hooked and hope they make more this kind of games.

My first shiny was little blue flame boy Ponyta. I still have him in the box, refusing to evolve the cuteness. Haven't even beaten the main story yet, been getting sidetracked completing the pokedex. Sooner or later, I'll come across Zorua and Zororak and be blown away on how great they'll look in game for the first time

It was my introduction to Sinnoh. I didn't really play any pokemon games besides a tiny bit of heart gold as a kid. It made BDSP so much cooler knowing where it came from. Now I own every pokemon game on the switch and enjoy them all.

I kind of fell out of love with Pokemon for all of gen 8, only picking up Shield not too long before SV came out. I only grabbed PLA in January of this year, and man I regret not playing it earlier, I was so hooked. Definitely one of my fav games in the entire franchise. This makes me wanna try an alpha shiny hunt

The nostalgia for me actually hit when I played the indigo disk and heard the unova music again and caught the very first Pokemon I loved Blitzel

Legends Arceus was my second ever Pokémon game, my first being sword and shield. And even without the nostalgia of playing as a kid, I still felt like it was the kind of Pokemon game I WOULD have wanted to play as a kid. I had watched the anime a little so I was pretty familiar with a lot of the Pokemon and even some of the ancestors of previously shown characters… like without ever gaming and only seeing the show a little I still knew enough about Pokemon that made the experience nostalgic. To me that makes for a really good game for not only long time fans but also the most casual appreciator of Pokemon.

Platinum was my first ever Pokémon game so I KNEW I was gonna love PLA, but I never knew how much. When it came out, I would drive straight to my girlfriend’s dorm after work and play it constantly, and her friend down the hall was super into it, and he helped me complete my first living dex. That game literally gave me a new lifelong friend.

Been thinking of playing this soon. Grew up on Gen 4, and i hadn't played Pokemon in years. But i just came back playing Alpha Sapphire rn. This departure from the norm looks awesome!

Just started playing Arceus. As someone who grew up at the beginning of the Pokémon craze, I’m partial to the Kanto and Johto regions. It’s been somewhat of a struggle to attempt playing these new games. My one complaint after playing a few hours of Arceus, is that my Pokémon journey is not about challenging gym leaders. I guess I didn’t know what to expect. I am enjoying the research tasks, but it just seems so far from the nostalgia that sits in my memories.

I’ve been playing it last weekend and finally beat, caught arceus and still need to get shiny charm but still found 4 shinies this is still one of my favourite pokemon games of all time

PLA is my 2nd favorite game in the series, right behind USUM, but it definitely feels like a first attempt. If we get a new Legends game, I'm hoping we get some online elements, more than battles and trades, but things like seeing strangers in the overworld, and hopefully more survival/crafting elements. So basically, I just want a Pokemon RuneScape...

I started playing PLA because of this community, and I think it's my favorite pokemon game on the switch now! It is such a nice change of pace, and I hope we get another legends game at some point (as long as the developers are given proper time of course)

I actually just finished the game for the first time, gotta complete the dex for the sweet sweet shiny charm. The game feels better than SV because it doesn't lag as much and has less visual issues. It's also a lot easier to excuse its flaws because they were trying something different that worked pretty well.

It’s sad that attack style shifts never returned past this game. It would have thrown a wrench into competitive Pokemon battling but would have been nice to see how people adapted to a massive competitive change. I also don’t know why they didn’t bring back the Shiny Sparkle and Sound into Scarlet and Violet, would make hunting the smaller shinies (like Charcadet) way easier.

Legends is the game I had the most fun at while playing since a long time. I did like Scarlet but the feeling I got was far from the feeling I had while playing Legends. I really hope we will see a legends johto in the future since these two gens are my favorite.

Now I'm gonna spend the night playing legends Arceus 😊

I do prefer scarlet and violet because I like the traditional team building and battle style but legends arceus was so refreshing and different, it captured such a specific vibe that make exploration feel so exciting yet chilled

I wasn’t like a huge fan of this game when it came out. I played through the main story bit then kinda moved on. My niece was really into Scarlet and then started playing Arceus and wanted me to play with her all the time. After doing so I really discovered the true fun of this game! I ended up last year playing as much in a weekend as I had in my whole first story run lol. Def nostalgic vibes on it!

Hisui may not have been exactly what everyone wanted, but for me it was just the best. The game finally brought my dreams for YEARS to life with over world interactive Pokemon. This, combined with being legitimately afraid the first time I saw Alpha Snorlax and Rapidash, made all those years of Pokemon worth it. On top of everything else, the game is based in my favorite generation of Pokemon, with the ability to catch Shaymin, Darkrai, and of course Arceus. I really hope they make another Legends game, the company is so big they could easily make a more beginner friendly game (SV/SWSH/LG) and the Legends series. I was never a big shiny hunter until the games made it easier to obtain them with method hunts, but when Legends had just came out, I used resets to re-roll the shiny encounters for mass outbreaks to almost guarantee a shiny without throwing a single ball. it also released a day after my birthday so I guess I'm just sentimental.

I've gotten so used to seeing people bash Pokemon and be overall hateful/negative with the series, that seeing such a positive, loving video like this warms my heart. It's nice to see more people that love the franchise so much.

I’m really glad they at least tempted to create an open world. Pokémon game with better mechanics some thing that’s close to the show😢 it would allow us to find eggs on the ground or in bushes or trees that would be nice to and allow us to pet them😊

Haven't played a pokemon game since Sun and moon. Ever since they removed the national Dex and megas and z moves, I refused to buy a new game. The only game that peaed my interest was legends arcues but I was still not convinced. But as a kalos fan, as soon as I saw the legends z trainer, I finally went today and bought legends arcues, just to keep me hyped until z drops. So far I really enjoy the catching mechanics, it's so much faster. I hope when Z comes out, they add voice acting and improve upon the legends gameplay.

Legends Arceus' open zones and Pokémon encounter system was far superior to the open world and encounter system of scarlet/violet
