I was born and raised in Pandacan, Manila in the 50s. Although I lived in a squatter area, my house was built with pallets and rusty metal thin roof sheets, I was very happy growing up in that neighborhood. Now that I am an old man, I always missed my childhood friends and my environment.
@@shellyfulgencio6389 same here. I was born 1951 in Vermont, Paco near Anak Bayan. Most of the houses then were covered with used corrugated sheets and thick wood planks recovered from war remains. I really missed my childhood days there.

'Nostalgia, Philippines'; and is themed by 'A Summer Place'. Wala ba tayong magagandang himig sa Pinas? Bukod sa music , I love the pictures. Some I have not seen before. As I was writing this comment, a 2nd Hollywood song was playing: 'A Time For Us'.

I'm very interested to know the name of the beautiful girl in the opening video. If I could travel back in time, I would try to find her and if I do find her, I would marry her.
Pero yung first photograph ay kay Joseph Nicephore Niepce in the year 1814 ng France. Maraming salamat and God Bless...
