I just realized it’s been more than 3 years since NostroMegamix Trance 01 and decided to put my other projects on standby to work on a sequel.
This one is shorter but more consistent on both audio and video with each track lasting less than 2 minutes. Considering my noob level in audio mixing, the hardest part for this project was to select tracks and put them in the best order to obtain good mixing and smooth transitions.
Audio mixing is done in Premiere. It’s probably not the best way to do it but it kinda works.

Firstly, the new "Nostromo" logo animation is amazing. Secondly, it occurs to me that this is pretty much exactly what I wish modern MTV would be.

I listened all and I really enjoyed it! Even if you say that you're noob in audio mixing (people like me have no idea so i don't know how hard it is), at least you managed well how to put them in the good order. Also, it's a good taste on music and I added some of the songs to my list, so thank you and good job! PS: the start with your logo animation was very cool and how you showed the name of the songs LOL xD

+Nostro Maybe a curious question to ask, but seeing as I don't know you personally, I've always kinda wondered. Do you enjoy watching anime for the sake of it, or do you only see it as a good medium for your amv work? One way or another, your amvs have just brought me so much enjoyment. Also, great trance mix!

+Corranhorn122 thx! I used to watch a lot of anime back in the Magic Pad era but not anymore. Now I might watch 1 or 2 shows a year and I mostly just use anime as video footage, I import directly to my timeline and start to cut.

I totally understand that. For a while, I was going nuts with anime, but I've slowed down to a few shows a year, and maybe rewatching some with friends, these days. I've always thought that your videos take what's most beautiful about japanese animation, and place it next to gorgeous, utterly appropriate soundtracks that communicate so much emotion and drama. Just one last question, haha. What are your three favorite anime? I get the sense you're like me and enjoy scifi and seinen. Thanks man!

+Nostro you probably slowed down for the same reason most of us "older" anime fans have. Nothing but school life and pervert fanservice being produced these days. that, and blatant copies of previously successful titles. What drew me to anime in the first place was the creativity in the stories and how different it was from western culture. but now the industry has gone the way of hollywood and the game industry, pumping out what they know will sell and avoiding creativity like the plague. Its a sad state of affairs, and Miyazaki was right, anime fans are killing anime and filling it with perversion on an almost pornographic level. But hey, as long as you derive inspiration from it as an artistic medium, keep it up. Your videos are always awesome.

fakiirification I happen to mostly agree with what you said, man. I'm a 90's anime fan, myself. That said, there are still plenty of older anime to check out, and there are enough decent new anime coming out here and there to keep at least me interested. I'm excited that they are finally bringing out new material for Berserk, and I enjoy attack on titan along with a number of other newer anime like kara no kyoukai.

It is just a hobby. I do electrical engineering. I guess I discovered my passion for editing a bit too late.

I love the AMVs as much as anyone, but what I really want to know is if/when we might be getting another fireworks remix from you. 2012, 2013, and 2014 are covered, but 2015 is conspicuously missing.

+Pikminiman The Arche is closed for renovation so there was no fireworks in 2015. They had some permanent light show around the area instead but I was in Tokyo at that time.
