I've always had a toxic relationship with food. At 55, I was close to 200 lbs (and I'm short), my beloved relationship ended, and I decided to improve myself, starting with food and exercise. I cut wheat (just to take weak points off the table), began intermittent fasting, and starting doing various HIIT workouts six days a week (mostly growingannanas now, but started with easier workouts). I don't own a scale, but I take measurements weekly. My waste has gone from 41 inches to 35 in 8 weeks and I feel strong. Almost in a size 12. I have far to go, and I'm making progress. Thank you so much, you are truly an inspiration!
❤well done you are amazing, keep going you are doing all the right things. Similar to my story, at 43 I began with long daily walks and cutting out all the junk food. Once I adjusted to enjoying healthy foods (giving up unprocessed/ low sugar/salt and filling up on fish, vegetables and fruits) I began calorie counting. A few months later I joined a gym to learn the basic movements and how to lift weights. 15 months it took me in total to drop from a UK size 22 (US 18) to a UK size 12 (US 8) I lost 77 pounds in total (35 kg) Maintained the lifestyle and weight loss for 10 years but did gain back 28 pounds over last 2 years following difficult life event. However my knowledge and dedication from before mean I'm equipped to get back to my happy size. For me the health benefits, particularly maintaining mobility, far outweigh the numbers on a scale or dress size- these are mainly a bonus ! For anyone reading this who is very overweight and intimidated by the gym, start slow. Nutrition and calorie counting are 90% of the work ! Once you have lost some weight start walking and looking at easy moves you can do at home. Get rid of all the processed junk and learn to love vegetables, good quality protein (fish, eggs) and treat yourself with whole fruits and small serving of nuts❤

I’ve been watching you for a couple of years and even have your fitness app which I really love. I find myself going into these 3-4 month long ruts when it comes to working out but whenever I start back you, you are always there being inspirational as usual. Thank you for your hard work!
So true, it’s also important to eat for your emotional and physical health. Which people don’t talk about. Eat foods that you crave, that make you feel satisfied. Also, eat healthy foods, colorful fruits, and vegetables and healthy meats. Life is all about balance. ❤

I struggle a LOT with my insecurites and i would always look at girls who were pretty and healthy and they only show you the good things and the rewards never the work to get their your channel helped me realize that it i am beautiful and now I'm not insecure instead I'm confident and happy❤ thank you
I agree with you but when I have to do yoga my whole family( except my sister) wake up in morning like 6 :00 am and in my rest day when I don't do yoga everyone become most sleepy person. It feels so awkward I don't have my personal room . there is only 1 room which has no space so I have to do yoga in hall 😢😢.
