"very expensive clothes", yeah and the way things are going very non-existent clothes! Just harvest the grass when you can. You have an autostacker. If you're going to make silage, maybe sell the bale wrapper and the baler, and get a baler that can do it all. Put the sheep next to the chickens, so you have a square field again.
Hey Daggerwin! Im not sure if you're ever gonna see this, but you really make my day every single day you upload! Your videos are so amazing! Can we all appreciate the time Daggerwins uses to give us something amazing to watch
Dude i have suggestion for u that u must wait and do cotton harvest it can give alot fabric and buy more sheeps bcoz we u sell 100k litres of clothes in and ure profit and that is gonna be very satisfying moment. Lets seee how much u gonna profit?
You can use "ctrl+tab" combo to go backwards through the order of vehicles. That way it would also put you directly in the vehicle you rented/bought last if you are not already in one.
I thought it was shift+tab, which = steam overlay. I ended up changing my steam overlay button to Ctrl+tab so the 2 didn't interfere with each other. This game has a few hold shift to cycle backwards through options key binds. Same with steam screen shot, i changed to Ctrl+f12 because I have a few games that use f12
@@smell_instink As far as i am aware i didn't change any settings in Steam or FS. When I ask google the key combo for steam overlay it says "shift+tab". I even tested it in FS before posting here to be sure I got the right one.
To get a decent amount of cereal buy a corn paddock because you will run out of corn before anything else and Oats makes more flour per 150L because it yields less than barley.
Hey Dag! The reason there’s different conversions for the grains to flour is cause different grains have different yield amounts. So the same field of oats yields less than the same field of wheat. But oat is worth more
If you’re going to replace your lorry, keep in mind that the long nose versions are far less likely to jackknife. I know this because not only do I play FS, but I haul freight all over North America as well.
19:35 Oats does give more flour per 1000 liter, but also oats have a lower yield than the other grains so you won't get that much more flour from the field than if you grew something else. 26:10 You don't need a lot of strawberries for cake, the bakery can only hold 7000 liter. What you already have is gonna last a long time.
Daggerwin, you should get the better greenhouse mod that lets greenhouses take seed and manure to yield better. It also gives you more of a use for the extra manure and seeds.
But make sure you don't get too much sheep, I filled the pasture on Calmsden (200 sheep) and now my wool production goes fater than my spinnery produces fabric lol
Watch for contract jobs that harvest crops that are to be delivered to one of your productions. Get paid to harvest and then seel it all once it's been through. Example, I did a sunflower harvest contract, for around 20,000, delivered it to my oil production and turned it all to sunflower oil. Made a huge amount of money from it.
You can actually use distribute on any crop you want to turn into a product.. it saves on spawn space and produces a bit faster without all the extra travel
But you have to own both productions for example you make oat flour you can buy the bakery and turn it into bread and make more on the bread than the flour
Don't plow up the grass field. Put more sheep there. And grass that don't need just make silage and sell it. Maybe you gan buy small BGA. That's great whay to make money.
With the strawberrys, flour etc, if the Output is set to Distribute, the game will automatically send those materials to the proper production chain. Saves you from carting sugar, flour, fabric, greenhouse output etc BTW i love your videos, watch every day.
this will kind of relaxing watching Daggerwin farm virtually after spending the last 4 hours getting the snow chains back on the MF 3060 and done a tad of scraping ice, sleet off the roads around my place. (yes i know, weird putting the chains on in Last of March but they will be needed for when i start dragging fallen trees around)
Daggerwin i like an organised farm, can you move the seeder to the main farm and the mowers and wrapper to the shed at the cow farm, keep the grass equipment together and save you time looking for things
As someone who has been watching Daggerwin for several years, it's safe to say that he will not. :) It's just not how he plays the game. He will leave equipment where it was when he finished the job and he will search for it the next time he needs it. Every time.
1:56 You should have taken the grain(s) to the mill first, sold them (making money) then bought the mill. That way all of your grain that you had just sold, you would have gotten back for free.
@@donderbassie If you buy it immediately after you sell the grain then it will still be there. If you wait, then the mill would have already processed it. It works the same on any production building to which you deliver supplies.
Given that you don't really need anything from the grass field, you could just make more silage bales and sell them with the other 4 or so that you have. even if you sell it as grass or hay bales because the silage takes a little bit to ferment, it could help to cover some of the cost of the sugar cane harvest while your productions make the profit to purchase maybe a new field. I mean that was probably the plan anyways but I figured I would throw that out there just in case your productions either weren't at the right time or didn't have enough to viably sell yet.
Did you active the Taylor Shop Dagger I don't think so and my OCD saw that you missed some barley when you harvested near the wooded area on your farm just saying awesome content as always loving the series so keep up the amazing work you do.
Hey Daggerwin, You don’t have to clear the greenhouse trigger areas if they are set to storage. They will continue to store fruit and vegetables even when the triggers are full. Unless you just enjoy clearing them? 👍😁
Am I wrong in thinking that the greenhouses can make all 3 crops and each crop would still have the same yield as if you were only growing one of the crops?
Question for people who know more about this than me: Now that he's bought the spinnery, will the other farmers on the map stop growing cotton? Could be a small own-goal. -
I got the large cow barn with feeding robot today it's awesome if you haven't tried it yet I definitely recommend it to everyone playing farming simulator 22
you should have built your own grain mill, now if you have any extra grain to sell, there is no place to sell it, you could use auto sell but you dont get the good prices that way, that actually goes for most the productions, build your own close to home
I've watched every episode of this series and Calmsden, I love it, unfortunately I don't play the game, maybe someone can answer, is there a setting in the game that introduces failed harvests? Maybe a failed germination, or an infestation? Something that would make growing crops more unpredictable and a bit more challenging? Would be a nice addition if it's not in there
There was a mod for FS19 that initially introduced the concept of "seasons." In it, sometimes there would be a partial field that did not germinate properly. But there's nothing like that for FS22 yet.
Make a chart/list of the products you produce and then go through them on the sales bit and note the best months to sell as it doesn't change i.e. Clothes are best sold in April price will be £30,000 to £31,000 box. Simples....
Can you move the forklift to the store because you overuse the super strength mod and you have rant that you should spawn a free forklift in the store to roleplay as it's the store forklift and because you don't use the forklift anyway
i just knew you would ignore that patch of oats..... you want to be real.....show me a farmer who leaves crops behind. you were getting better but lazy daggerwin has come back
A better solution to know where all your equipment is, is to put everything back in its proper place, and not to leave everything parked where you finished using it. Always know where everything is that way.
@Daggerwin i think you should sell the grape harvester and use that money to buy the olive harvester because the grape harvester is not being used and its just sitting i the shed... rather than always renting the olive harvester...
why did you need to sell it, why don't you do what really farmers do and just store it at the edge of the field until its needed or the price is best. 🤷♂️
