I have watched a pile of lumber milling videos, especially "OUT of the WOODS" He has a LT70 wood miser. He has great tips on how to cut etc. Just looking at your walking platform, if it was slightly raised a foot or 2 your reaching up all the time would be dramatically reduced and less painful at the end of a day of sawing. You are living my dream. Please keep making videos. Cheers from AUS. Steve
I couldn't agree more about reaching up. My mill is designed to be right on the ground, and I did not like bending over for all the lumber and log clamping, so I fixed that part by putting it up on my crappy stand. When it was on the ground, the clutch and push bar were a perfect height, but now I am reaching up. So my plan is this winter us to take the head in the shop and redesign the "controls" but it's going to be a bunch of cutting and welding so I want to make sure that I have it all thought out and and done cutting the lumber I need for garage project for awhile. Thanks for watching and commenting
