Not A Saint | ErrorInk 

:3 Pure shock was painted all over Inks face as he stared at the scene. Dust was lying at his feet and the world around him seemed empty and dead. Everything this place had held at one time was gone. Destroyed for no other reason than the sake of it. "WHY!!" Hot tears ran down his cheeks until they dripping from his chin onto the ground. "Error Why..! What do you get from killing all these innocent people?!" His grip around his brush tightened and his mourning turned into anger- no it was pure hate. Hate against the one in front of him. He couldn't understand why everyday had to be the same, to see these dead worlds with the life taken and gone and having to meet him again. The one that was the cause for all the sadness and fear! The one that always and just for fun had to destroy the work from all the creators, the work he was supposed to protect! Ink didn't realize that he had started to shake. His hands clawed into the wood of his brush as the only other living being in this universe slowly turned around to him. It took all from Ink to not gag at the picture. Blood and dust was splattered over the destroyers clothes and face, wet, blue tears were still running down before turning into the seemingly harmless strings that connected to the tips of his fingers. He was just staring at Ink, his movements quiet and calm. He was simply looking at him just as if seeing someone in the streets that he knows. The destroyer was still quiet but Ink huffed out loud. Oh how he hated these eyes, these.. these crazy and merciless eyes. That smirk, clearly wanting to mock him, showing that he enjoyed every single bit of Inks misery and from all these monsters. And his hands that had killed hundreds, thousands and even more. The way he stood there, proud about himself and his work. Could he even see what he had done? Or does he simply not want to understand. Maybe he was already too gone, eaten by insanity to even realize the mistakes he was doing. But Ink didn't care if he was or not. They were his people he killed, he was the protector. And Error, Error was the destroyer, the murderer, the one that always took the happiness and life from the all worlds away. If he wouldn't stop by himself then Ink would have to make him. He just had to! All Ink ever wanted was peace and to see protected what needed protection and all Error ever wanted was pain! To see the worlds in flames, empty and reeking like the dead! But it was a fruitless battle they had. Every day the same. Even if Ink didn't want to accept it: He couldn't beat the other. Error was strong. He was killing so so many on a daily routine. And Ink couldn't forget, Error was still a Glitch. A Glitch in the system. How can you truly kill something if it doesn't even truly exist..? But even if all odds stood against Ink to win this never-ending battle, he would never give up! No! Even if it was hard, frustrating even.. knowing to not be able to defend and to win.. he still had to do it because he was fighting for something more. Why couldn't Error just change.. To be able to see the beauty in colors and the worlds, maybe they wouldn't have to fight. But Error wasn't changing. And like it seemed, he wouldn't for a long time. Error hummed and then let out a long sigh, turning around fully to face the protector. The dust under his feet crunched loud and made the protector cringe at its sound. And for the first time since Ink had arrived in this universe he noticed something. Error seemed.. more tired and exhausted than usual and now illuminated from the fire Ink could see his face. There were bags underneath his eyes. And there was also something more in his eyes that let Ink freeze. For a moment it seemed as if.. yeah it seemed as if in the normally crazy looking eyes there was a spark of regret. Regret? He never had seen that on Errors face. But as soon as it came it went away again and Error expression changed back into the one Ink knew too well. His smile wide as fresh tears started to pour out of his wide open eyes. It was only a few seconds until the destroyer was running with full speed to Ink, who only dodged his attack at the last moment before gripping onto broomie and getting into a fighting pose. A new battle between the two had begun and Ink was already forgetting about what he had seen. Someone like Error couldn't have such feelings. Because if he would, they wouldn't have to fight every day.
