So fun to look at this 10 years later, and see what Benj is up to. Amazing talent and ability to capture feeling and passion in his writing and performance. This song helped give me the courage to come out and believe that I could have my dreams.
Whenever I need a lift emotionally I come back and find this video. The genius of Michael Arden and Benj Pasek on display. I am so lucky to be able to watch this appearance. Go Bless Them and M GO BLUE.
I think I am in love... seriously! Not only is this an absolutely gorgeous song, but the choices Benj makes vocally and otherwise in this song gets me... So, so beautifu. I love... love... love it!!!

This song is from a song cycle written by Michael Arden, titled "Easter Rising." I can't find the sheet music for it, but I'm sure it's out there somewhere.
I don't know why I haven't commented on this yet. BUt this is absolutely beautiful. I cried the first time I saw this. Your performance really speaks to me. like really. I am not trying to be cliche... but... it just happens to be that way. :)

"I forgot to mention and I forgot to say" is the whole lyric. I think it's "the questions that have *spun* inside my heart" I'm pretty sure that's what Stewy202 meant, but just to clarify...

wow I fully thought i already posted this. but it's supposed to be caleb's name right?? it's andrew who originally sings it... but I don't think easter rising made it past readings.. so i don't think anyone has the music except michael arden himself- and i guess benj... wow it's so hard to get the music for this stuff.
Can anyone help me with the lyrics? Can anyone help clarify these lyrics for me?
this song made me cry the first time i heard it, and it takes alot for me to cry- very touching from the lyrics to the singing and connection to the song; this is a really powerful song! where can i like get the sheet music or lyrics or something...... Great job may i add!

@trewingo01 I hate to say this but Benji sings it better. You have a real gift when you can it better than the writer. Michael is not slouch, Michael really sing it too. Benji's performance is flawless.
