Thanks RTT, It's been a good project overall. But, one project leads to another, set-up. We are mostly settled into the house, landscaping and yard will come after our trip. However, Sompit picked up a few plants already. You will see them in tomorrow's video. Thanks for watching.

Kenny, did your gfci breaker problem go away after fixing the loose connection at the pole ? Some tips on loose connections. You can sometimes hear some arcing and even smell ozone produced by it when a loose connection is put under load. It will also get hot and an infrared thermometer can help find it. Poking around with something non conductive can be very helpful for finding a loose wire. The voltage change under load is always the first clue as you found out. I have seen this on everything from circuit breakers to bad solder connections on circuit boards, ac or dc, any voltage. Cheers, Chris & Nim in Austin
@ParadiseNThailand
@ParadiseNThailand 2 месяца назад
As you know, I am not an experienced electrician, so it took me a bit to trouble shoot and find that problem. Now I am more educated from that experience and will have a better idea where to start looking next time. I have had no GFI trips for quite some time. Since my little anomaly, I have loaded 3 A/Cs, fridge, both well pumps and a couple ceiling fans all at the same time and no issues. I'm feeling better about it now. May still have issues when welding, but I will deal with that. Out of precaution, I will shut off the power to the pump house when we travel, just in case. Thanks

Congratulations on your beautiful home. Have you considered having a battery back up for the home like a powerwall? Or is the generator going to automatically come on when the power cuts out? Also what are your internet options being that far out away from the village?
@ParadiseNThailand
@ParadiseNThailand 2 месяца назад
Generator will not be automatic, as we did not run the aux wires for it,....unless there is some other method that I am not aware. Have not considered a battery pack. Really wanted to spend some time in the house first to determine how much we will be in need, then decide how much I should spend on back-up systems. We have a Sim card router that works on cellular service. Waiting for Elon to work his magic in BKK.

@@ParadiseNThailand Really know nothing about what grows best in Thailand, was just really curious as here in the upper midwest USA, a mixture of mostly Kentucky Bluegrass works the best.I laid sod for 5years, many moons ago. I just googled best growing grass in Thailand, and came up with this. Manilagrass A native Thai species that can thrive in high-traffic areas, tolerate extended sun exposure, and requires minimal maintenance. The Nuwan noi variety grows faster than other grasses in Thailand and is resistant to traffic.

Do those bird spikes have a 3rd inner row? It was hard to see from the video but it looks like maybe not. The ones I got had an inner row (you needed to assemble yourself) which were good enough for pigeons but maybe those smaller birds could slip in between still. They ought to have different sizes for the variety of birds I would think too.
@ParadiseNThailand
@ParadiseNThailand 2 месяца назад
No third row, these are all I have seen in the past, so when I saw them on Lazada, i ordered them. NOw, Gerg, American in Thailand, put out a video with a third type: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-7NAzOxri9wE.html
