Not Dead Yet! Middle-earth SBG On For A Good Year In 2024? 

I expect the supplement will be tied in with the new The War of the Rohirrim film. But I’m hopeful it will be Arnor focused instead. I was convinced they were doing that when we got the new Witch King and Glorfindel. I’m doubtful GW will drop the game any time soon (at least till the current growth stops). GW at the moment looks to be trying to catch everyone it can by release new and different games. They want a game for every type of player. And from my experience MESBG players are mostly just MESBG players, so it would just loose them customer.

Is there a reason no one ever consider a Battle of the Five Armies as a potential supplement? That seems like a natural choice to me.

So whatever the new supplement is it's clearly what they were talking about at Warhammerfest when they said there was something big on the way that they couldn't talk about yet. And considering War of the Rohirrim's release got pushed back by nearly a year and it makes sense their hands would be tied when it comes to talking about movie tie-ins. . . . I suspect the reason things have seemed so quiet is that they've had this supplement and any models for it finished and ready for a long time but haven't been able to talk about it due to contractual obligations.

The Quest for Mount Doom board game is actually really good. I played it a lot at NOVA in 2018 - it’s better than the Balin’s tomb one and we’ll worth picking up. I’m really excited to pick up the ‘new’ old Rohan Captain - always wanted him but never felt worth it for the stupid eBay prices so I’m pleased he’s finally getting a proper release - Damian

I'm sorry but until I see new miniatures or at least an improvement on the old ones I won't believe it. for me there will be a handful of miniatures if all goes well and a book
