Hey Paul. An accumulator may help with the pulsing tap but I would level off the cold water pipe. It looks like it goes up and down where the batteries are and into the water heater. This could be causing air locks type symptoms in the pipe works. If you have a dip in central heating systems this can happen. I think Als idea of a separate straight feed to the sink is a great idea to test. I’m not a plumber though but gotta be worth a try . I think pipes should be level. Steve

i will try this Steve, i did actualy do this on purpose then if i need to move the pump i have a bit of slack, but the bathroom one is fine, same feed

As per Holty's suggestion you could try back filling the cold pipe at the sink from the mains fill hose to blow out all air locks?

Hiya Paul defo agree with other comments try and flatten out the cold water pipe or re pipe it if that dont work shortest route good look m8 and were are you from defo a northern accent were Bolton chris & sheila

Have you checked the "O" ring on the drain plug? only I had to replace mine, the owner before just put silicone around it, talk about bodge it an legit. I believe the water heater fills up as soon as you put water in the water tank, the pump is just to pump the water to the taps and shower head, the hot water becomes pressurised in the heater and pushes the hot water up to the hot taps, to the best of my knowledge. the pump is NOT the problem, take the cover off the heater on the outside to see if it is leaking from the metal tank or the plug.

Well not bad, good to see the family. Only problem now is Sandra has the covid and with her Addison's disease it could potentially cause a few issues, i have just started with Headache and sore throat so we will see what the outcome is,

@@MakeDoAndMend1 Well George, i tested positive this morning and been in bed most of the day, Sandra on the other hand is not good at all, breathing and chest and back pain mainly. Getting a little worried truth know but not showing it, trying to keep her a bit cherpy

Great video, sounds like the length of cold pipe to kitchen tape is too long, or have you too many joints in the run? As each joint reduces the flow due to smaller internal diameter? Could you run a pipe direct to kitchen cold and bypass the joints? Or try lowering the temp of the hot water to see if that helps? Al

Thanks Al for the suggestion, the cold pipe to the kitchen sink is one piece, i made sure i did this, there is a Y piece in the cupboard right next to the hot water tank before the bathroom, one goes to bathroom sink, works fine, the other part of the Y goes onto the kitchen sink, no joints

Hi there Paul, can you please tell me where you got your zig water gauge from, as I am not sure if the sender unit is faulty. I think your water pump is not man enough to pump the water round. just my opinion
