The acronym of XG is actually for Xtraordinary Girls. They're a Japanese girl group based in South Korea, all of their members are Japanese two of them being half. And for the record, XG prefers not to be called a K-pop act but a “global girl group.”

Hope you feel better soon, that adressed, SM needs to step up their game with Aespa. Not hating on the girls but the way that they built their concept x the execution... I know that the company behind them is also big but it's definitely different. As GD emphasize here, they managed to put out a very Scifi/badass vibe and yet make the girls feel GORGEOUS. I think SM went to light with the concept in order to just make the girls look cute, like they were afraid too afraid to commit and compared to this looks just half assed. Again not a personal beef against the girls, quite the opposite, I think they deserve so much better. Anyway, back to XG, GURLS ATE. The song is so goooood damn.
