Right?! I've been sewing for years and sewing stuff that I have been wearing at the time. But I still don't think I could do that as quickly and without poking myself even with curved needles. 😆 My little T-rex arms would cry after 10 mins haha

Not sure if you're a troll or not, but growing your hair out that long took about 7-9 years for me, and I know some people who've waited longer and who's hair just won't grow that long. On top of that, it's hard to switch out hair lengths (apart from cutting it). I.e., there are plenty of reasons to use wigs instead of growing out one's natural hair - I don't watch this channel much, so I'm not sure why she does it, but she could also just like making wigs. Either way, people have their reasons for their choices!
Also most wave patterns are created with chopsticks and chemicals to hold it then dyed and oil put on it as it's stored. It's washed a few times to create pattern and dye the hair to same color. Still should be washed as you maybe allergic. People only wash bundles but not braiding hair which has more chemicals in it too.
Yeah, you right it’s probably dye. Definitely good to wash it. The chemicals involved in synthetic wigs and extensions aren’t really researched anyway. So we don’t have much clue how it can affect a human long term.
Back when bundles first got popular, they (RU-vidrs) used to show that process all the time. That was my favorite part. I guess it should be common knowledge now.

Soeverybody in this thread is either bald or wears bonnets and scarves 24/7 because if that's all you're worried about, think of all the stuff going into your real hair on a daily basis just going outside.
Who knows it could be a little dye or it could be dye and the fact that dust has settled until packaging occurred but the last it is an excellent idea to wash the hair before it goes on your 😊😮❤very own head wonderful job thank you for sharing be blessed in the Lord Jesus
I rhi k irs may be a tittle bit of both, the dye and the dust. We do not know the conditions of where these hairs were assembled/made. (I say assembled cuz it looks real BUT I really do not know anything about real and fake hair extentions😅( But yea, we don't know who touched it before, what the hygiene was like where it is coming from. A lady ended up have a maggot tunnel through her skull because she bought and wore hair without washing it.

Sis, I don't wear 'human" hair anymore for that VERY reason... that's SOMEONE ELSE'S HAIR (and if people only knew the religious prays they pray OVER that hair, not to mention the lice and other nits that they "beat" out of that hair before processing, NO THANK YOU. Girl that’s hair dye 🤦🏽♀️ manufactures ALWAYS put dye on the hair especially black or brown hair so you’re always going to see this when you first wash the hair because you’re washing out the dye

Did she say she wasn't proud? Being proud of your natural hair and wearing all different styles of hair don't negate each other. We're allowed options.
I decided to wear a blond hair wig just for fun in a hot summer day….my brain was boiling hot after 10 minutes. How can someone wear it longer than that?
I’ve gotten away from this practice. It caused me to have gut issues. I believe over time, putting wigs and layers of covers on the natural hair causes damage to the internal organs. Because , there are lump nodes in the head . Lymph nodes releases toxins from the body. This practice caused tender spots in my head, and damage to my natural hair as well. I think us Black women should love what God gave us. We should love and put on full display the hair that is growing from our head, because it is beautiful ❤❤❤
Thats just too much work omg. You have to wash it and style it and sew it !!! I might as well do my own hair. (Ive never worn fake hair my mom wouldn't let me as a kid or let me perm my hair and i just never tried it)
The hot water made the die fade and bleed that’s what was in the water. Second air to air is so much better because your closure wig is limited. You can only pot it so much 13 x 6 or more is amazing clothes yet yours is limited I do hear as well.😢
Same thing I just said. Her hair was pretty 😢 and she looked cute with it out naturally. She don't really need these. She's not protecting it under the wigs
So I watched a short recently of a guy putting a weave in a girl's hair, and within a few days, she started feeling pain and tension headaches. Turns out there was a bot fly larva in the weave hair and it somehow burrowed into her head. It was so gross!! 😮
It would be awesome if today's Blaq girls put that much time and energy into caring for their natural hair. They're just kool with being bald-headed under those wigs. 😂
Freedom of choice, but the others get the wrong impression and think we all do this. These girls are very young to be looking at a lifetime of wearing wigs. It has potential for disaster since no air gets to the scalp for weeks at a time.
Team Quick weave. As long as you do it correctly it’s super easy. Especially during the take down. Easy and quick to do and easy and quicker to take down….Through and through 😭🤷🏾♀️
First don’t use dawn. A clarifying shampoo followed by conditioner is good enough. Did you wash the weft as well cause otherwise it’s still dirty. I always pre wash my hair too because I like to rinse away some of the chemical residue but also freshly washed and conditioned hair performs better from my experience 😊
She cleaned it after letting it sit in the dawn..she shampoo and condition it...one thang Dawn going to do is remove residue from anything showers, greasy counter tops, toilets, and now hair 😂
I use a canvas block. When I sew on my head...my arms and shoulders will hurt and burn like you would not believe. Previous trapezius muscle injury and just out of shape...besides I have this fear that I will accidentally stick myself with the needles.
