Both Palestinians and Israelis face an existential crisis. For both sides, it means : we win or we lose our land and identity. The big difference is that Palestinians have 75 years of resisting and an endless supply of resistant fighters who are well oiled to fight. The IDF doesn't have the same experience and more importantly the same supply of troups ( remember they are trying to enroll the Haredims plus admitted they urgently need an extra 10 000 troups) You don't need to be a top brass to understand what's going to happen eventually.
