I love this foundation last all day on me and good coverage on me. I feel like it's a hydrating double wear and I'm here for it. I feel like we have 2 different foundations because mine has a very subtle scent. It has a lot of good skincare ingredients in it so that makes it appealing to me.
I absolutely love this foundation! I definitely didn't notice a huge fragrance with this at all. I'd grab a sample of the right shade/undertone for you. This lasts all day on me and covers all my dark spots and does NOT emphasize fine lines or wrinkles! I use my fingers to apply and go over it with a damp sponge afterwards...anyone over 35-40 should definitely try this!
I have a sample and used yesterday. This foundation is best for daily basis use. Is perfect specially when need get ready quick, like go to supermarket and pick up my granddaughter from school. This foundation cover my dark spots very nicely. It has a very light fragrance scent, nothing that bother me. Definitely will buy it.
Trust your reviews, you’re always spot on. We can make an informed decision based on your thorough reviews. Saves us time and money. Your lucky with those perfect brows! You know me love ❤️ the liner!
I had this applied at the Estée Lauder counter at Ulta today and was advised to use my fingers as if I was just applying moisturizer. I got home and took everything off and applied it myself also just using my fingertips and it applied perfectly. I am very happy with it so far. I also hate cucumber scent but this faded so quickly it didn’t bother me. It built well but I did not try to take it to full coverage. I am 43 and my skin is starting to dull a bit. For my more mature but not heavily wrinkled skin it felt perfect. We’ll see how it wears over my long work day.
This sounded like perfect for me everything id look for, I'm so glad you reviewed it lol I cant use spf anyway I have allergic reactions 😒 you look beautiful!!! Thanks for the video!
Girl, I live in Florida and drive a convertible, so this is the bomb! I wear it to Orangetheory and it lasts. Apply with a BK Beauty 101 Foundation brush.
I grabbed this at tjmaxx last week for $17 , I’m dry skin, hormonal acne, and this? This is beautiful on my skin. I’ve been LOVING it ! And for $17? I love it even more! I too love it with the sponge over the brush, I do put it on first wit brush and then push in with sponge that has some fix+ on it and boom it looks flawless!
Oh my goodness! I was so happy to see this review. I'm 49 years old. I've been a EL Double Wear girl since it launched in 1997. Because I am more mature, I watch many youtubers that are more mature. They all love this foundation. I have tried this every which I can and I hate it. I love this review and plan on watching much more of your very informative videos and reviews. Thank you.
I’m so glad this was helpful! If you want a more hydrating full coverage foundation for more mature skin I HIGHLY recommend the NARS Longwear Natural Radiant :)
Thanks for the great review. I don’t think the color looked off. I’m horrible at matching foundations. When I got color matched at Sephora and Ulta for foundations they always say I’m warm golden with neutral undertones but the color always looks darker than I am. When I go and try to match myself I sometimes feel like I go to light or it looks like a match in the store but when I get home it’s off. 🤦♀️ Whats the best way to see what undertone you are?
I prefer the brush side on you. I also think the color is great for you. It does look natural on you. You’re right, it’s not a glam look...at least so far in the video. All you need to glam up is add glam color. On you, this is actually a very good foundation. Your skin looks smooth and this is a good look for work and most occasions. It’s real life look. I love it.
My skin is the same. Everyone thinks I’m neutral but that undertone as soon as I put it on is wayyyyyy off. It shows up so pink on me. You know yourself better than anyone else does!
I actually enjoyed this foundation. I do mix a couple of drops of the original Double Wear for a little extra coverage. I live in the East Texas humidity and it lasted all day and night. Might need a brush that is more dance or use your fingers.
Thanks for the review, I agree the side with the sponge looked better than the side with the brush. I like getting samples at sephora but I hate when they give you a tiny little bit in the pot. I want to try it more than that 1 time. Sometimes you get a good person who will fill that little pot and sometimes not 🤷🏽♀️
Well shoot I watched Mel Thompson this morning on it and she started with the same type reaction but then said after she used her powders it did really well. Still not sure about it.
This sounds almost perfect 👌 for me...I will have to try it! Cucumber sent sounds nice and I don’t like full coverage and yours is the only review that complained about settling in wrinkles.
Guess I am the only one? Lol go ahead and try it dude! It might work well for you! The scent is perfumey and not fresh. So if you like perfumey scents in your products then yes you will definitely find it pleasing for sure.
KrystalKBeauty ugh 😑 I’m not loving that it’s more of a perfume smell,, was hoping for more of a fresh cucumber and I didn’t mean every review... meant to say most don’t find it settled in wrinkles and not till later in the day.
2N1 Desert Beige is my Estee Lauder Double Wear shade. I have wanted to get this Unfortunately Covid did a number on our finances. I'm running out of all my Paula's Choice, Estee Lauder & Murad skincare. And several makeup products. Yikes!! Can anyone tell me about It Cosmetics bye bye foundation? Is it ok for dry skin?
I am very confused with reviews saying it has a lot perfume. Yes It has a scent and I’ve tried samples of it and can barely smell it. And I am extremely sensitive to fragrances since I cannot use perfume or fragrances because of migraine headaches. I do believe this product has perfume, all their products do, just wondering why it’s not strong for me.
Veronica Herrera Mena well you did only get a sample. I’m not sure though? Scent is not a one sized fits all situation. Some may be sensitive some may not
KrystalKBeauty yes true. I have used it at least 6 times and doesn’t bother me, and again, I’m very sensitive to perfume. So even if it doesn’t give me headaches I probably won’t purchase it because of skin sensitivities.
Nisa Thomas octinoxate? That’s a chemical sunscreen and from the research I have done, it would have to be in extremely high doses and applied heavily and frequently to even have a smidge of an effect. But I would agree that it’s not the ideal type of sunscreen.
