Listening to this as I prepare to attend my grandad’s funeral today. I shared the gospel with him. He rejected the Lord and today is going to be so hard being with all my family who aren’t saved. Oh Lord have mercy and open their eyes and all the eyes of our unsaved family. This song blessed me greatly, thank you for sharing. 🙏🏼❤️

These lyrics are so beautiful and so delicately crafted. Such a wonderful reflection on the fragility and wonder of the life that God gives - and Jesus can transform. I remember our dear friend Karen who went to be with Jesus before her time shortly after this song was released. I cried when this was played at the Big Church Festival. Thank you Lucy Grimble and team for this. Soooooo sorry we could not make the performance of this at Stampwell Farm this week!!!

the only thing i take issue with is that God gives you things to take them away 'at his good pleasure." people or circumstance does this not God. you have free will. your life choices have consequences. we cant sink into false (religious) messages in the face of the truth.
