Not Just aNYbag: Transforming New York’s Trash Into Tote Bags 

I like the idea very much. I’m a weaver too. Years ago, when plastic grocery bags first came out, my friends and I would crochet the strips into front and back door mats. They wore forever. Years later we had to stop, because the plastic was made to decompose in a landfill, so the mats disintegrated. I realize that it makes a difference what kind. I’m curious if the rugs and bags wear well.
