Honest unboxing and review of the soundcore VR P10 Wireless Gaming Earbuds. Although they are designed for the Quest 2 they are certainly capable of way more. I have used mine on the Quest 2, PC, Switch, PS5 and most importantly on the Steam Deck. I would highly recommend these for gaming, but don't expect Airpod Pro quality sound.

hey I appreciate you taking the time to make a vid on these P10s. I just got them with the intent to play rhythm games with the dongle on the Steam Deck. As you know, the Steam Deck only has one USB C slot, so i got a NewQ USB A to C hub for some more USB-C ports. My issue now is a critical one. The dongle seems to have incredibly poor distance capability with the dongle, which is a new experience to me. If I shake my head or move away more than 2 ft away, I will no longer hear anything. Quite frustrating lol but I wonder if this is the intended distance since the dongle would be very close to the earbuds on a Meta VR. I don't think it's my dongle, and the only alternative would be to use the P10s with bluetooth but that defeats the purpose and their sound quality is not any better than other "just bluetooth earbuds". Now, there was a part of your video you glanced over, which was the "Meta Quest Mode" in the Soundcore app's settings I haven't tried yet. When toggled, it claims to improve connection but only intended for use with the Meta VR Headset. DUDE i think that toggle is what us Steam Deck users need! Stability and distance has improved.

I just wanted to update that I am no longer trying to fumble with Soundcore... I went and got the Logitech G Fits. 🥲 I'm still using the P10s with dongle for my PS5. They work as intended without issues for PS5, using the USB C slot.

My dongle turns off when its plugged in to the steam deck, never happened before when I was using my quest 2...

No problem. Let me know how you get on. I had a similar problem with the Nintendo Switch recently. Was working fine but now the disconnect is happening. However the deck is still working fine.
