The story behind the scars isn't even hard to guess. The only one capable of inflicting them on Mario is Bowser, and nobody else.

⁠True, but that also depends on if this is the Main Series Universe, Mario & Luigi Universe, the Paper Mario Universe-doesn’t make sense, I know-or the Luigi’s Mansion Universe. To me, this seems more like the main universe, so Bowser seems like the main culprit. But we can throw Bowser Jr. and the Koopalings in there as possible candidates.

This makes me wonder does mario still get a wound after getting hit and losing a power-up I have always wondered that sure he might get completely revived with 1-up mushroom but when you think about it mario still feels the pain of dying but he can still come back no matter how many times he fails.....

2:51 gosh… Didn’t think a comic would vocalize the exact thought process I have with my younger siblings. Being the Eldest is such a responsibility, but there’s so much guilt when I make them worry about me.
