When Jonna explained how she felt in nature in comparison to the city, it felt like I got an answer to the question I've been asking myself all my life. I've been struggling to stay in college and study and focus on my degree, but somehow I can't find it in me to push myself. The city is really slowly but surely taking parts of myself away, and every day feels like I'm being constricted of air. When you talked about how you feel in a city, I started to cry. I feel like I don’t belong into the city world either. I grew up in French countryside and the only reason I am living in a city now is work. For months now, I am asking myself how could I manage to have the life that I truly, deeply want. And I still don’t know and it’s freaking me out because I don’t want to spend my life waiting for the opportunity to do so. I just want to be in the wild, with nature and that’s all. I always feel so on edge in cities. I haven’t even been in any massive cities, just kind of tiny ones with very small “sky scrapers.” The idea of getting lost in a city is much less appealing than getting lost in the wilderness.
