Factually, Kendrick will always be a far bigger man than Drake can ever hope to be, in really just everything. No matter the amount of people disagreeing with that, it's an undying and unchanging fact. Kendrick not just wins this beef with how he bodied Drake but also, as a man, just completely, he easily wins against Drake in every way. Drake lost not just the battle but also the war.

Firstly I love your videos, they give me insight to artists I may not have found otherwise. This video gave me a chance to think about artists that are impactful in the way Kendrick is. I am almost 50 and have always been deeply impacted by music. My mom having Fleetwood Mac on and explaining the Rumors album to me made me appreciate the creative genius and strength in Stevie Nicks. In HS I was able to consider how deeply heartbreaking it must be to have a single mother who is an addict, but how unconditional love is not a weakness from Tupac coming across my top 5 and 9 radio show. I remember the undeniable confrontation of Madonna singing Pappa Don’t Preach and Sinéad O'Connor ripping a photo of the Pope mid-song moving my soul when I didn’t even understand what I was seeing. That same level of knowing you’re getting access to something deeply creative and authentic happens with both Kendrick and Taylor Swift now. We are experiencing in real time something that stays, something that is connecting with so many people, and damn that’s powerful.

Nobody with an unbiassed view thinks Aubrey won. Kendrick called another man a pedophile on a hit song, had lyrics like "I'm the biggest hater" in this beef, then goes on to talk about not being an angry person. Even having Sza do this interview is suss because Drake shouted her out in Push Ups. Kendrick Lamar is an entertainer, a successful brand and this is brand control. I enjoy his music, he's a very talented individual but he is no monk. In this times we need discernment now more than ever, especially when it comes to celebrities we put on pedestals.

The superficial, the image without consideration of character. It’s all about the person you are in the world, not did I check all the boxes. It’s living with a purpose that you can die knowing you achieved. I personally find trying to do my best to make the future happen a little less chaotic than I had an honor that needs no glorification or reward, because everyone who is yet to come will get it. Which is the greater good: my self satisfaction or paying it forward….. or all of the above 😉)

Let me preface with " i am old...like i remember Drake from Degrassi...old" . So please bear with me. I love this channel, not only because of Knox's outstanding talent in his own right. His clear love of poetry, a love i share as well, but how he is able to teach others how to appreciate the fantastic world of varying poetic methods, including HipHop/Rap. With that being said, i do have a question...I thought that hip hop artists having beefs with each other was common and just a part of the culture, i dont quite understand why this particular beef is so divided. Is it that Drake or Kendrick crossed a line or that one is significantly more talented than the other?

So let’s get this straight: The guy that went after the other guy saying he’s what’s wrong with hip hop in terms of clout chasing, linking up with artists from other states and other things, has now doing the same things he despises about the other guy? What happened to watching the party die? And most importantly, when was the last time you ever believed hip hop have an overhaul with how the artists acts and thinks when they’re a product of the environment they’re from? Also living in capitalist America where money matters and conversations about money or making money matters, what good morals and values are you expecting from a culture that chases the root of all evil? Drake is a culture vulture, whereas Kendrick is a true rapper. I've never been much of a fan of Kendrick, and I always hated Drake, but I do respect Kendrick's work ethic and his commitment to perfection before just putting trash out for a money grab like Drake. I'm so glad that Drake has finally fallen off. Though, it will be temporary as he has too large if a fan base to just retire, like he should.
