Dave and Tracey from the spectacular RU-vid channel, Dave Mani, sit down with Josh from ExpatsEverywhere about how they left Canada for Dave's job in Nairobi, Kenya. Like many expats that move, there was an offer on the table for a relocation and this young, adventurous couple jumped at the chance. They had been inspired by watching couples on RU-vid videos live abroad and travel the world and they thought "if they can't do it, we can do it too."
Despite Dave's full-time job, he and his wife, Tracey, travel and film all around Kenya for their RU-vid channel and other social media accounts. Such is their rapid rise and success of capturing life (both wild and domestic) that they've been named the 2021 Travel and Leisure Influencers of the Year in Kenya.
In this interview, they discuss a lot about the initial steps it took to move, how it felt doing so, how it has been settling in, what they think of Kenya, Africa, and the thought of moving back to Canada.
