[Tidbits & Clarifications] - Kubo revealed that The Aspects of Death are linked to the rank they have as an Espada. Additionally a more concise term for what Ulquiorra's Aspect of Death is would be "Nihilism", which explains why he doesn't understand emotions. Plus if you know what Aizen philosophy is based on, then it makes sense why he Favors Ulquiorra the Nihilist. - Harribel and Nel both shared the Aspect of death "Sacrifice" which is interesting given the natural function of Hollows. They are an eat or be eaten species, so it's odd to consider that one would sacrifice for another. - Toshiro hesitating because of the possibility of hurting his allies is meant to once again showcase his immaturity as a Captain. The entire balance of the world is at threat, even if it comes at the price of their allies the Shinigami need to maintain balance, but Toshiro is more green, he doesn't think or act in that manner. - Szayelapporo's Aspect of Death is more accurately labeled "Madness". Barragan or the Old Man Espada Aspect is "Senescence" which is the process of deterioration with age. - Yes! Again, the arc in large part poetically sets up parallels, you must then ask yourself why do we cheer for the Shinigami when the people they are killing share little differences from them.Worst is that Aizen (A Shinigami) is using them for his army. It's any interesting setup, it begs the question, who are the bad guys?

4:02 Not entirely accurate. Yes, Rukia needed saving by Byakuya after her fight with Aaroniero, but she did kill him despite being incapacitated. In fact, she's the only non Captain that managed to kill an Espada.

It will be super entertaining to watch last filler arc too which will start at episode 317 which is after end of arrancar arc to episode 341. Very entertaining. You should watch that and do reaction video for that as an exception filler arc. It is not like filler arc of other animes. It is super interesting enough to be compared with canon arc. It is Tite Kubo's favourite filler arc. And animation and fight choreography is simply awesome which you won't get to see even in arrancar arc. It is worth watching. Let's respect those who actually used significant budget for a filler arc.

Unlike espada it was not said out loud, but original 13 Captains in show are also representing motive of life. Yamamoto is order. Soi fon is servitude Gin was is lie (that was also kinda lie itself, as his true self lived for love). Unohana lived for supporting others. Aizen is power. Byakuya is duty.. Komamura is loyalty. Kyoraku lived for his close ones. Tousen was justice. Hitsugaya was hardwork. Kenpachi is fun.(it just his fun is bit extreme and specific). Kurotsuchi is curiosity. Ukitake is kindness. Sometimes it is not that oblivious but if you start thinking about their live and deeds in bigger picture, you find out they keep returning to those aspects and are also prime reason behind any of their decision. Kenpachi always does or doesn't something based whether it is fun or not. And Yamamoto does what he think, he needs to, to keep order in place.

I think you are beginning to appreciate why Aizen is such a meme. These three Espada are all Vasto Lordes turned Arrancar. Remember how they hyped up a Vasto Lordes surpassed the power of Captains? Well, these are Arrancar on top of that! Only the strongest Captains can fight on their level. As for Hitsugaya, he is the youngest and newest Captain. His Bankai is still immature as well. But he does have the most powerful snow/ice zanpakuto and is a prodigy.

Toshiros zanpakuto hyorinmaru is the strongest ice type in the entire soul society but hes unable to use it properly since being so young. people in the show say hes a prodigy due to him have innate talent but his lack of battle exp leads to lapse in judgement and constant overthinking. later other characters remarks that toshiro be struggling too much and he needs to lock in lmao still love my goat though

Objectively Ulquiora is not the strongest hollo, but he's the most intensed one. And Ichigo's fight with him is the best fight in the whole entire Bleach.

The aspects of death for the Espada is interesting and is actually involved in one of the theories for why Ulquiorra died and turned to sand/dust, emptiness was his aspect of death and entire reason for existing, but towards the end of his life he no longer embodied that aspect and so he was no longer able to maintain his physical form. This is just a theory though.
