Don’t they get it? Your country is way better off with a constitutional monarchy. I’m from the USA and you should be watching what happening to our elections to see what corruption can cause you to become. It is terrifying.
How do you think it's any different here. Constitutional monarchy means we still have all of the corruption of politicians trying to get elected. We just ALSO have millions to spend on a useless monarch on top of it. Pointless.
Luckily these people are an odd minority. They ignore the fact that we already had a go at being a republic, but we chose to restore the monarchy instead. Been there, done that, got the t-shirt 😂 I'm 43 and all my life I've seen on TV the scandal and money surrounding the US Presidential system and I'm well convinced that it's not impressive enough to convince me to live under such a system. You guys have that system because it's impossible for you to create a monarchy. Changing our monarchy to a presidential system would also be just as impossible, neither of us can do it. I'd only ever accept a Head of State that had legally binding restrictions on their politics. The US President is supposed to be apolitical when sworn in, but that's simply a lie as the people opposing them during their campaign will never really accept them, just waiting till the next chance to be rid of them. Likewise the supposedly apolitical President is very much against the opposition, even though *they are supposed to be the president of the opposition* It's just weird. A head of state should never have been politically motivated (they should keep it to themselves) or have politics involved in their election. And we have just that system with a constitutional monarchy.
Im under 50 and I want our Monarchy, best soft power diplomacy money can buy. No one can try a coup to overthrow the government, as the armed forces will automatically side with the king as head of state.
These people need to educate themselves on the pros and cons of not having a RF. they would certainly be out of work, that’s if any of them actually have jobs and rely on the benefits system to help them with travel and housing. Very low turnout also and the chap moving the leg of the dinosaur looks at one point like he wishes he was at home watching Tv. The puff he gives just goes to show that’s probably the most work he’s done in ages. I bet he was knackered after that 😂
