@chardz2007 If it goes past 5 I will be very surprised. May even see a KO between 1 and 5. Berlanga is an empty suit who has never fought anybody. Hope that Canelo doesn't hurt him too bad.

Berlanga is going to fight tall and distant, he’s going to try to bait Canelo for a strong punch. He will be successful in landing the punch he will be looking for but it’ll be ineffective which will turn the tide while he tries to figure something else out to no avail. He will hug Canelo to disrupt set up punches from Canelo.

Doubt it. Berlanga starts wearing out by the 4th. Look at his last fights. Gets knocked down by non power punchers. Very open. Doesn’t have much combinations. Really, I think Berlanga eats the mat by the 7/8.

@inlu4178 Berlanga really has little to no chance. If I were Berlanga's trainer I would have him box Canelo like Bivol did. Throw bunches of punches with a few really hard ones in between. Berlanga has the size and youth to keep it up for 12 rounds. He cannot hurt Canelo. GGG boxed Canelo and threw hard shots at times to keep Canelo honest. But, of course , GGG has a rock solid chin like Canelo. I think that GGG won their first fight.

Don’t get me wrong, I think Berlanga gets mopped, but he’s going to play it smart in the beginning till he finds out his plan isn’t working, then it’ll just be survival till he gets hurt/KO. Berlanga’s overconfidence will dwindle after the first couple of rounds. RIP Bernalga

Canelo will KO berlanga in 6/8 rounds berlanga had 16 KO in 16 fights.When Edgar stepped up his power faded for 5 fights and them 5 fighters wouldn't go 3 rounds with Canelo. Coceres beat Berlanga in my opinion Edgar gasses around 4/5 rounds and that's when canelo will start hurting him with body shots and then it's good night sweetheart.He's never faced a man in the ring like canelo and the iq like canelo ever.

@clickastanley78 Coceres, not in the top 50 or maybe 100, floored Berlanda in round 9 and hurt him at other times in this 10 round fight that Berlanga barely won by decision. Berlanga looked lost for some of that fight.

S.O to Berlinga attempting to sell this fight the best he knows how because this is a clear cherry pick if I’ve ever seen one. But Berlinga seems more confident than Mungiua was in the build up so at least it can seem exciting before we realize Berlinga should have never been in the ring and Canelo and his team have fooled us once again

@@richs4358 I do believe that Munguia was a worthy opponent for Canelo. He had defeated some very good opponents and, of course, had never lost in 43 fights. He was at least more worthy than 40% of the fighters that Canelo fought. Berlanga is still an amateur as far as I'm concerned as he has really never fought any opponent in the top 20. A nobody by the name of Marcelo Coceres not only knocked Berlanga down hard in the 9th but punched him at will at times. The judges cards were all pretty close. If Canelo puts his mind to it Berlanga may not even last 1 round.
