The bill's stringent voter registration requirements, including proof of U.S. citizenship, have drawn concerns from voting rights advocates about accessibility for millions of Americans. I don't know, the current long game in play (that they're not even hiding anymore) is to flood the country with illegals, give them representation in Congress and the electoral College, and then ultimately allow them to vote. If that's not a plan to rule, then I don't know what is.

How else do you vote without a photo id? You register and then show up. The election official looks at the picture, scans your id, and then you vote. If you live somewhere else, how is it different? Im just curious.

@@goodgrief88 It suppresses the vote of the vulnerable who often do not have proof of citizenship. It makes it easier for states to select which areas are easy to vote in and which are harder. This is about voter suppression not election integrity. The integrity is already ensured by the voter rolls. This bill is not about integrity - it is just in the name.

Most of the licensing centers are in capitals of counties, and yet voting locations are not entirely in the capitals of those counties unless you can mail, but if I can mail the photo, the photo ID means absolutely nothing. In fact, all I need do is intercept the photo card.

@roejogan7770 No, that’s literally not true. Transportation costs money. A “nominal fee” means money. Why should voting be paywalled? Do people who are unemployed not deserve to vote? Do people who are homeless not deserve to vote? What about homeless veterans? Military IDs aren’t proof of citizenship, after all. State IDs aren’t either. Does the fact that bills have been tight for the last 10 months and someone doesn’t have the wiggle room in their budget (either money or time) mean they shouldn’t be able to vote?
