That sounds like Colin Robinson, the energy vampire :) Seriously, it is probably well meant, but it just made me think about him as he is simply hilarious.
Malinda, I’ve been following you since your Google Translate days and I feel as though I’ve grown up with you as you’ve discovered more about who you are as an individual and as an artist. You’ve had some pretty great songs over the years but this one is just incredible. It’s so upbeat and full of energy that encourages me to listen to it over and over again! So proud of how far you’ve come but I know there’s so much more ahead! Never stop making music and keep being you! 🧡
Dealing with my mom's death, depression getting worse, forced to move in a few months and struggling to pack/go through 12 years worth of stuff... Then I hear this song and can't help but smile with tears in my eyes. Your music always hits me like that, but it seems like this one is extra special at the moment. I love how your voice has matured over the years and every new song it feels like we see a little something new in you.
I don’t know how you do it, Malinda, but you manage to constantly make music I need to hear damn near exactly when I need to hear it! You’re so talented! I’ll be annoying my family with this song now lol
This is like a sequel to Brooklyn which already felt like your most relatable song. Especially after watching the burnout advice video, this was a beautiful testament to your journey back to happiness!
Can we take a small moment to appreciate that this is a one take video? That's so hard to make. Many of us don't really notice jumpcuts anymore because they just exist in so many youtube videos (which isn't a bad thing) but this makes me really appreciate a one taker.
Oh hey, a new MALINDA earworm to dislodge the previous one! 🥰 Also, I want the blooper reel because I refuse to believe you got this in one go and the first try. You can't be that good at EVERYTHING, okay? It's not fair.
"Good Lord, Myrtle, it's that Reese girl again, a-sangin' and a-daincin' all up an' down th' block!" Myrtle leans forward and peers out over the tops of her reading glasses with a frown, gives out a long, "Hmmmm," and settles back to her knitting. "Catchy song, though," she allows quietly, tapping her foot to the beat.
Can't wait to put this song (among others) in one of my playlists. If anything, that is worth coming up with a fantastic name for. I didn't even know it was public information before she made those videos.
I've been following your music since your first viral video in 2014 (Let it Go Google translate!) and at this point I'm convinced you don't even know what bad music IS, let alone how to make it. Everything you release becomes my personality for weeks, months, YEARS. I'm truly in awe of your skill, your dedication, and your sheer energy. Thank you for sharing your creations with the world!!
Melinda, Wow! Catchy tune, well recorded, and a video made with a camera on a selfie stick. OMG girl, all in one take. Bravo. Well done, very well done. I'm going to go watch again.
I was having a really bad day and I turned to RU-vid for something to improve my mood, this was front and center on my home page! I really needed this today and I’ve listened to it on repeat 😂 thank you Malinda!
Love the song Malinda, wished you'd carried on the comedy side for a bit longer, but I'm an Irish folk musician/singer in the UK, so I get you have to follow your passion, someone else mentioned it, I found you via the Google Translate videos, but fair play to you, and again as a busker, I really like this song, very relatable for me, keep up the good work
That was fantastic! The song is fun, uplifting, inspiring. The video was one long selfie- which in itself is pretty impressive- but it did not feel cheap, or cheating, or self-indulgent, or low-budget: it felt self-empowering, fun, flirty, life-affirming, self-sufficient, thoroughly professional, and yet intimate with your audience. What a simply fantastic video! What a simply wonderful song! Thank you for sharing your talents as you do; you have a public who loves it, and loves you for it. Encouragement to continue doing what you so clearly love.
Malinda, I have been a fan for years. I am so happy that you keep growing and improving with every song you release! You are just as amazing and talented as that swifty Girl! I hope the world sees more of your body of work! Thank you for bringing the music!
Amazing exhilerating song. Vivacious Malinda exudes more confidence with each new song/video she releases. Never stop bringing happiness and joy into this world as well as you do with your obvious beauty and talent!
i never really understood the term "frolic" . i just hadnt seen a good example of it yet. i saw this video, and thats the word that came to mind. i hope youre that joyful in all things
Wholly khau, this is pretty dandy! The hair and the . . . ? sunsuit . . . and the camera angles, and especially the light, joyous, movement, make this work wonderfully with the music and the words! And you, beautiful, happy, you! And, my gawd, the creative genius it took to put this all together, it must have taken months! I like it.
Was that an adaptation of 'Holy Cow'? :) She looks gorgeous for sure, but indeed I'm skeptical she made this in one take without trying multiple times.
Petition for you to do this for every song released. It looks like you're having such fun with this visualizer. Oh, the song isn't too bad either lol 😄 Seriously, love Not So Bad!
Amazing MALINDA!! Love the music and energyand lyrics and your attitude. Brightened my night..couldn't sleep and found you on RU-vid..I'll never get to sleep now. ❤❤❤ from Canadian.😊😊
