Hi guys, in this weekly vlog I'll be bringing you around with me to manchester to get my haircut, talk about my scotland / scuba diving trip, go shopping at places like afflecks (big indie marketplace!), volunteer at a nature reserve for reptiles, grocery shop, food haul, and also taking carl to the vets. It wasn't the best news.. but fingers crossed he will be ok :'(

Another note that I was thinking about - and I hope maybe it brings you some piece of mind: one of my cats went to the vet for a regular check up and the vet was like “Oh - there’s a mass and it’s absolutely cancer” - so - I bawled my eyes out and asked for next steps. The vet said they could operate to see how long Aiden had left to live but it would likely be 4 months to a year - SO - we did the surgery - turns out - it was just a FATTY POCKET -_- no cancer - but all the stress and worry that whole time when it turns out he was just a lil fatty! And here we are 5 years later and he’s a happy healthy senior kitty! SO I am going to send the energy that Carl is so good and his new antibiotics are gonna be the fix 😸

Check the tubes and bucket from the water irrigation tank/water dripper you use for Carl for mold or bacteria as I saw something similar before in a reptile because of that!! (maybe buy new one incase)

I had a leopard ghekko called leonard. He lived to about 10 years old and he was such a character. loved that guy, totally felt like family. Carls living his best life with you, from your vidoes, he gets all the love thats for sure :)

Sweet friend I just lost my Cham. I have been a mess cuz she was with me for like 4/5 years. I got her when she was a little baby. No none of what I’m saying takes it away, but know some person in GA, United States is also sad/depressed. You always give me inspo… know that you make a difference in the reptile community! I hope Carl gets better. It is always so hard when your pet gets sick. I got a cat when I was 13 years old and he died when I was 30 years old. He was my baby and it was very difficult for me when he died. I completely understand how upset you are about your baby being sick.

So sorry to hear about Carl. Hope you both are OK. Love your vlogs, so happy you're back but just find what's manageable for you. I love all your vlogs. I started u I a couple of years before you but we have finished at the same time and it kinda feels like we were going on the journey together lol. Would love to hear how you're feeling now tht uni is over. I thought I would feel so happy but I've been getting overwhelming feeling of imposter syndrome. We learn so much in uni and it feels like my knowledge cup is overlooking and everything is spilling out lol. So I'm just continuing to study like I'm still at uni and do my best to get a job. I get mosquito bites just thinking about it. Mix a few drops of lemongrass essential oil with water in a spray bottle and spray all over. It’s a really good deterrent.

I'm going through something similar with my cat that I've had for 5 years. 😢 She has skin cancer on her ear and we've done surgery twice and it keeps coming back. 😢 I will be putting her down within the next week because she's going downhill now and there is nothing left to cut. You actually just made me feel better that I'm not the only one going through something like this. I hope Carl gets better results than my Khaleesi.

Know that no matter what happens Carl loves you. Even if it's the worst case you were the best to that little critter and he'll always love you for that. The worst part about pets is that they don't live as long as we do. That's awesome that Carl looks so good otherwise, and hopefully if it's the worst you caught it early enough. 💚🦎

Girl I feel your pain 💯 my bearded dragon was my world I loved him so much and I gave him everything he could want and need including a 4x4x2 enclosure. Unfortunately one week when I ran low on his bugs that I normally order online I ended up having to get him some from petco to hold him over. The next day after eating petco bugs he got very sick and passed away😢I was so crushed 😔 but let me tell u you're doing amazing with Carl don't be hard on yourself you're doing everything u can trust me I was so hard on myself for months after he passed I blamed myself but we can't we give them great lives. Anyway I'm so sorry for this long comment and I'm all over the place lol but you're the best girl sending all my ❤🫂 and 🙏

So sorry about your baby Carl. I just found out my cat has mouth cancer and maybe has 4-6 weeks. I've been a wreck and still in denial. So I know your pain. It's horrible. You hang in there yourself, stay strong. ❤

I can (only 😕😟) tell you to consider to apply Swedish bitter or tea tree oil on the bump instead of iodine . Actually tea tree oil does work against papilloma virus
