Sinai is actually the perfect map for this babe I mean, look at it, it's not big which means you won't have to play aggressively and you can easily snipe!
@@wheely_boi_6846 it can be decent at an uptier, the Mk5 would suffer significantly because it would fight turms, Leo 2k etc.... but the Mk3 at 9.3, it would hold its own fairly well!
@@wheely_boi_6846 yeah, that's a fair point, it doesn't have the best armor then again, this is the kind of tank you wanna snipe with most of the time especially since it's slow as well.
However modern it may get, the British tank will always be a hard hitting heavy it seems. Similarly, the Type 74G continues the Japanese tradition of comparatively light weight - but adds a new element of hydropneumatic suspension. Check it out!
I believe the Japanese go for a lightweight approach as their country is mountainous and has lots of islands, meaning it’s imperative that they are able to quickly deploy all round Japan without using conventional infrastructure. Although someone correct me if I’m wrong
@@danielfield2570 I think it has to do with the railroad track width specifically, as the big advantage of the Type 16 is that it can be deployed via highway rather than relying on rail. Pre-war and wartime tanks had the additional issue of resource shortages with much of the metal being given to the Navy
I used to play the Chieftains quite a lot. But then Gaijin said NO and made it so expensive in repair cost I just stopped. I don't even play British 7.0-8.7 anymore, that entire bracket is just unsustainable.
It was great when it was the same BR as the mk 3. Snail has ruined it again. They exactly the same tank only the mk5 has a slightly more powerful engine. Not nearly enough to justify a full br increase over the mk 3
@@purplenurp5590 True it has a good gun and decent armor, but at 8.7 anything will clap you easy since ur a very big target and slow compared to other tanks in 8.7. Yes it has a better engine than the Mk3 but not much of a difference there when you play it.
