I would avoid index funds, mutual funds, and specific stocks for the time being. Right now, the best option is a fixed income of five percent. Put money aside for the times when the market really starts to bounce back.

@@Kimm.J The problem is because of his EO, no oil company is going to invest anything into oil exploration and production going forward. You don't invest billions of dollars into something the government can shut down on you with no notice and on a whim.

When President trump is back in office and he gets us back to being energy independent we’ll be in much better shape! Of the things he accomplished during his term the border and energy independence were two of the best things for this country
Biden decimated our "strategic oil reserve". That is the oil that is designed to run our military in case of war and we can't get any from overseas. Biden has all but started WWIII as well, war in Ukraine and Middle East.. China with Taiwan, Russia, China, and North Korea banding together.
SORRY, to add some reality. The democrats won't lose this election. They are plotting and planning. Whether it is getting all the illegal immigrants to vote by just pushing them to vote and overwhelming the system. And when it gets too difficult to separate the illegal immigrants ballots from the actual US citizens ballots, the democrats will chant "count every vote" and they will win. Or their polling operatives will repeat the dirty tricks they did during the last election by telling everyone to "go home, the counting is done for the night" or just running around and uploading mystery votes from thumb drives into voting machines. The democrats have a long list of options they can use to win elections. The Republicans don't do any of that crap, not even "vote harvesting", and that is why they lose. So, vote honestly, and be aware of what goes on around you. Don't hesitate to report questionable behavior by Democrat poll workers. If you see something bad, report it to the authorities.

When the tax rate is cut the USA gains more tax revenue which is basic capitalism . More goods and services created by the production of increased workforce that translates to prosperity for everyone !
I heard recently that the corporate tax rate doesn't have an expiration date on it, it's the tax tables that impact your payroll withholding there may be other pieces to it but that is definitely part of the Trump tax cuts that would expire if Biden were re-elected.
