Thanks for the review, saved me some money. Hard to see the spirit of the movies in this. Like some odd hack and slash interpretation of movie. Would have imagined a more hide and seek puzzle game. Expected a fun cartoon version of phasmophobia, learn about the ghost, find ways to make it appear, capture it...
Thanks for the look at this. The game is fun enough multiplayer shooter. It is really geared towards multiplayer arena style action and light on the story. There are some people upset with being misrepresented, but there is nothing in the trailers that indicates the game is more than it is. I think the community and meta overhyped this one. It is as is presented. A fun, cartoony multiplayer arena/basic objective based shooter. Granted what you see in the trailers are pretty much what is in the game.
I don’t understand why they can’t just make the film into a game ? There was a Gostbusters video game on pc a long time ago and if they made that VR I would’ve bought it.
What on earth were they thinking? A totally wasted opportunity! If the foundation of game is rubbish I fail to see why adding additional levels would save the game. If the game lacks depth and atmosphere then extra levels does not address that. Ndreams failure here is on a par with firewall cos no amount of fixing has saved that game. Been bold has not worked here. They should of made the original game into VR and it would have been a winner.
Honestly, that game looks kinda meh. What a dissapointment. Maybe it will be fum with few good friends to mess around in but a system seller this is not.
I think it does come down to the group your playing with , I've enjoyed it so far but I'd agree it's not a system seller but a good one to pick up if see on offer and you have a group to play with , they have promised more content over the next 6 months so see if it becomes something more and they listen to feedback
