Dee, this video is a classic and timeless. I started following you because of your work (not videos) among the Aetas. Keep going Keep documenting history
@@Barbara-tw2pb exactly all these Jamaican videos and they just go to the same places, yet nobody visit the true freedom fighters, the most African ppl
Yes, quite diplomatic in her introduction! Thanks Dee! You are here for a good reason! You have a lot more to do and accomplish on our behalf. More strength Empress Dee!!!
More than any other countries outside of Africa Jamaicans promote Africa the most. Jamaicans are Africans and we believe in Africa the most. We love Africa and Africa is Jamaica. We are one and that will never change. Well come to Jamaica and I hope you have the best time of your life.
A lot of Jamaicans have been tricked into believing that they was brought from Africa. But if you research the facts which are out there most Jamaicans are the original Irish, Scottish English and Welsh brought over in the 16th century as indentured servants
@@anthonybrookes1658 you’re making no sense look at the people in videos they look Scottish or Irish. A small percentage is of those demographic most of Jamaica are African people from African descendants
@@anthonybrookes1658that's not true, your slave masters originated from those places hence the reason why your last names are not traditional African names. This is exactly why I comment my previous comment
Well as a Jamaican living abroad for the past 8 years I’m learning so much about Jamaica. Seeing stuff I never got to see wen I was there. Thank you Dee. Definitely appreciate it.
All these Rastas in Jamaica and their own , culture camps . are a bunch of political Religious cults. And a bunch of day dreamers. They are just a bunch of activists whom , have no way out physically .Of Jamaica ,But only in their dreams to reach the promise land Africa .
@@augyannafacey7616 Would you say it was similar to this Bobo Camp or 7Day Adventist style of Worship? Do they believe in Jesus Christ? I'm surprised Dee didn't ask that question ❓ BTW Dee, what happened to your covered clothing @1:19:27? They allowed you to Walk around in your shorts at that point 😊
Does anyone else find it odd how he made them wait for a woman/Empress but then he broke his own rules, no woman came, neither was seen on camera in the compound ( weird), but they were actually escorted by 2males
When i was in my final year of High School I did my Religious Education S.B.A. on Rastafarism and as a group we got to visit Bobo Hill in St. Thomas. It was a very spiritual journey for me. I got a distinction on my Religious Education subject. Thanks for reviving a 23 year old memory for me. Love and light.
I'm from Ethiopia. the priest says the truth about the world's future, i hope in the future i will visit this beautiful rasta camps in the future. thanks, di mango.
Dee I heard the ancestors welcoming you the birds are singing wow🙏🙏🙏❤️📌🇰🇪🇯🇲 #4real guys, sounds like when @#Mayuguno went to visit his mom for the first time after many years, I will never forget the sounds of the birds singing with joy… From that moment I know he was blessed.. Dee Mwango you are blessed and protected… God is good all the times…🙏 Namaste!
This girl called D is so unique, such a called out one. She carries her true identity in her voice, personality, body, spirit and soul. So awesome! Love you D,
Dee , you're bringing us all over. I like how you reach to Bo bo hill. Lived here all my life n never went there. I know of it's existence though. Bless you ❤🇯🇲
As a Rastafari, I must commend you for the wonderful way that you handled this interview with the brethren at Bobo Hill. More love and may the Most High continue to bless and protect you. King Selassie I Jah Rastafari
The great I AM is The Most High/Majesty In Heaven/The Highest‼️ Ras Tafari/Haile Selassie was a great man with royal lineage but not the Creator of the universe and even he reverenced the man Ethiopians called 😊Yesus Kristos who is GOD in flesh, King 👑 of Kings/Lord of Lords/Conquering Lion 🦁 of The Tribe of Judah. No matter how Europeans have whitewashed Yesus Kristos and renamed HIM as Jesus Christ of Nazareth, HE is really named Yeshayah in the Hebrew language and HE is who The Bible describes as having hair like pure wool and arms & feet like brass burned in a furnace; so, he appeared on earth as a black man and HE will return on the new earth as The King of Kings👑. Please stop 🛑 practicing idolatry by deifying a mortal man as Haile Selassie, formerly Ras Tafari.
Hi Dee you are taking people all over Jamaica you are really enjoying your self and I can tell you love the place this place very much we also love our home land too the land of wood and water🇯🇲💯👍🏽🙏🏽❤️
Hot and humid! Im a Jamaican living in the US. This is very private reclusive community. That's why even Jamaicans at home really don't know much about this culture. Thanks Dee!
I'm a jamacian and never being to Bobo Hill ,but I have a step brother who lives there all his children were home school by him except 1 my brother way of life is so amazing an my sister in law so loving My brother always tell us we're free to visit but we must remember there're rules to follow I love this vlog see jamaica is not all about crime 🇯🇲❤💯💪
Magnificent!!! No matter where you fall on the spectrum of belief or disbelief about seeing this--its informative and superb reporting. Again, magnificent!
I never commented on your channel but this video is one of the best I just hope their wish will come true one day. See how they're happy to hear that you practice the same as they do on SABBATH day.
@@westkingston3135 And? they have a huge influence on Jamaica culture. Also, its a way of life and not everyone can abide by it to be involved, based on the high level of consciousness required, however, they are still Jamaicans
I born and live here and didn't know nothing of their rules and regulations it's a bit impressive and shocking, especially to see you have to adorn yourselves from head to toe, I really thank you, because I've learned something new😊😊😊
Did you noticed Dee’s clothes?? Going to a Rastafarian community without bra and wearing shorts. Didn’t someone tell her she can’t dress like that? In Jamaica, we wear bra. We do not go without bra.
Dee my love, thank you for this. I'm a Jamaican who has not lived in Jamaica for many years and I am learning so very much about my own country, through you. Your love, sensitivity and respect for Jamaica and our culture is beautiful and I THANK YOU!! One Love Sweet Lady ❤🌴🌹
Great video Dee. Great you are having a great time in Jamaica. Africa has open up to all blacks. Ghana have been giving free land to whom ever wants to move to the mother land. Many have moved and is living in Ghana. Ghana has Rastafarians and other regular Jamaicans there that have moved from London, Jamaica etc. They have a Jamaican Village there. Bobo Rastafarians should revise there plans and follow there dreams to Africa. Africa is open to all. They should not be like the Isralites who took 40 years to finally realise that the opportunity was always there. Free visas, free land. It's there. I dont think that ship they are expecting will arrive. They should just contact the Ghana government they have an office set up for people who want to return to the motherland. Also long ago the Rastas wanted to go to Ethiopia and the Jamaican government did put them on a plane to go see Hailie Selassie. However, some return because they were disappointed with conditions there. People have to be mentally free to see a path or they will get stuck waiting on someone to fulfill their dream. Enjoy your stay in Jamaica. Blessings. 🙏
I am a Jamaican living in Atlanta and got hooked on your content. As a content creator myself @ kinikameleon I love your work. Excellent videos, whenever you get to the states come and visit and I will host you and take you around to tour the wonderful history in Atlanta especially the busiest airport in the world and Martin Luther King resting place. Good evening Dee, I am here watching I love the content very informative thanks for sharing Rasta culture, you are taking us all over be safe bless up 🙏👍😀🔥🇯🇲.
Do you really though?! As a blue-eyed Arab, some treated me like a devil. Im not sure if it's because I look white, or because I'm very obviously Muslim. I do know that their version of Pan-Africanism ideology doesn't hold very high thoughts on anyone with light skin though.
Dee my dear, that was a tall walk you need water with you at all times, I'm a Guyanese 🇬🇾 I feel that journey and I know you was going to be fully attired by the empress. Love your strength and determination 💪❤.
Bobo Hill my step father use to live at the bottom of the hill. ❤ I go up there for fruit. They ask me about the menstruation 🩸 that time I was around 10 years old 😊 they open a little window give me fruit. Now I'm 52 years 34 years not living in Jamaica, but I remember this . I enjoyed seeing up there again. Very kind people. ❤
Hello Dee as a Jamaican I always respect the Rasta people when I was three 3years old my first gift from a stranger was a Rasta man and some Rasta woman used to take me to there church with them as a child at that time I love food especially the baked goods one love my girl enjoy ❤
Well done, Dee ,and a big thank you to the Drive . Have learnt a lot of history from this video. Honestly, I can't wait until you go back home to hear you speak to mayuguno. All the slang you will learn from jamecia 😂😂😂
Thank you Dee for coming back from that forest. I was so worried yesterday. The place it's self joo Dee. You are so bold. Thank you Lord for your mercy. Keep on anointing her. Love u Dee
so true,I am a Jamaican born and raised there, didn't even know some of these places and people exist, thank you Dee for he love, you embody our culture and nuff nuff respect to you for the love and support, big up you self🙏❤🇯🇲💯👍
This is a walkthrough memory lane, at a time of uncertainty and turmoil my family was hosted here, the months I stayed helped my spiritual growth, the tabernacle is still my favorite place, the customs/ order is complex, 21 days is a long time to separate, I First learned of Haile Selassie I being the living God here, Praise Is given to Emmanuel/ Jesus Christ, Marcus Garvey The God of The Wind that will carry Black people out of the slave lands by way of ships/Blackstarliner, His Excellency IdI Amin of Uganda is also Revered as God, Furthermore the Priests say “Man of Right is God in the Flesh” 🤷♀️ there is still Great Peace Love & Hope in the Bobo Ashanti hills…… & the tabernacle is amazing,
I am so proud of you. Please continue to show case our small island 🇯🇲.. We love you girl.. Hope you get to linkup with Drizzy Burke and the WalkingTV family.. You will have a blast.. love you girl.. ❤🎉
Shalom Dee. You are doing an excellent job creating great contents in Jamaica. Yes, we Jamaican are from the House of Judah (Jews) Jamaicans are from the Tribe of Benjamin .Our history is written in the Bible slave ships Deuteronomy 28:68🚢 Curses are written in Deuteronomy 28 15-68 due to the Israelites disobedience and they have broken the Most High commandment. It would be awesome if you can visit all the other Rasta' communities while in Jamaica, ingluding the 12 Tribes of Israel community. Watching from Canada🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🍁🍁 Jamaica Land we love
Shalom ! You speak truth and thank you for mentioning Deut. 28 -Yes we are the Israelites spoken of in Deuteronomy 28 - The Transatlantic slave trade for the 400 years is the one foretold. What other peoples were taken by ships into slavery with yokes and in nakedness? The Egyptian slavery started years after 70 Hebrews, went on foot to Egypt to escape famine when Joseph their kinsman, was there as governor to the Pharoah and they were enslaved after Joseph died. I encourage @gloriarobinson1869 to read the the Torah from a spiritual research perspective. Our history is there. I agree, Dee did an Awesome job with grace, charm and such sweet demeanor - just like true royalty.
Yes I am an African living in Jamaica,AFRICA is my mother land.Africans are my brother's and sister's.I love 💘you all JESUS CHRIST loves you all forever
Big welcome to Jamaica Dee. It takes u to show me this part of Jamaica that have heard about but never see, wow. Thank u and u doing great. Respect to Rastafari. Am from a Rasta fam too, humble and peaceful people unless u get trouble them👍🏽

So so proud of you my girl. Real African princess. Keep doing these interesting videos. You speak with a Jamaican accent.
De I'm proud of you, as you bring us things that we would never know without your travel. And as I listen to that priest, there is a truth in what he is saying, that the Western poo people has oppressed us black. That's the truth, I wish their dream come true. Your visit there was blessed with rains too. One love Jaber 🇰🇪

Ok, first of all, I’ve never commented on anything I watch but my gosh. All glory and praises to The Almighty Life Giver!🙌🏾 Blessed Love Dee👏🏾 I’ve just finished watching this inspiring video of yours and I just want to say what an amazing journey you captured! The only down side I have is that the video wasn’t 8hrs long😂. I’ve watched many Rasta documents and journeys on here and none of them come close to your representation! Why? You’re more engaged, you’re not biased, you’re open hearted, you take the time to listen and you even resonate with the Rasta life with your own back home. You respectfully questioned things that many others never thought of and took the time to overstand the way RastafarI live. As this is my first time watching a video from you, first impressions speak the loudest and empress you did just that with your superstar confidence and your loving spirit- even the birds agreed when you finally stepped foot inside! Honourable mention to your driver Ludlo? Apologies if I got his name wrong but! What a spirit! What a man! What a guardian! The respect between you two was evident in the video. I feel like getting to Bobo Hill wouldn’t be that easy if it wasn’t for him lol. Great spirit honestly!🥳. Dee, your humility and love for knowledge is humbling to see. Keep striving for empress greatness!🙌🏾🙌🏾 Subscriber coming your way! OUT OF ONE ; COME MANY! JAH! RASTAFARI!!🇪🇹🇪🇹
Dee, you are a GEM No one can match you!!! You are an Amazing woman God bless you in your going and coming!!! Stay safe!!! 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽👍🏼❤️❤️❤️🔥🇯🇲🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
