@@Maartentravels I did! But there is more than one Hotel Victoria, I was in a different one 🙂 Man, the traffic, was soll dass? Normally I walk at 4 mph, in Tirana, I'm lucky if I get 2. Without being run over. It was bloody hot last week too. That really restricted my movement. But thanks again, I did the pyramid.
Albania was one of my first countries to visit in Europe, and it is still one of my favourite experiences. When I went, I tried to find this pyramid, but the entire thing was smashed, covered in graffiti and all boarded up, I guess this is the result.
It's a pity that the skytower is not opened yet. It used to be one of the highlights of Tirana ( my favourite place). The round bar would go around slowly for an hour, and you could see all sides of Tirana just by staying put for an hour on the chair. The restaurant under it wouldn't move, though.
@Maartentravels Sorry, I have no idea. I think they are trying to fix it again. I used to go there more than 20 years ago,so probably it is too old now.....
Great video. Also, the "Mediterranean" description is the most abused and confusing term, used everywhere for everything. Is it "mediterranean" like South France, Greece or Algeria/Morocco?
08:40 - Invisible :) there is never a river there, the Lana river (more like brook or stream) used to flow under that bridge decades ago, but now as you could see it flows in a different river bed altogether 13:16. Thank a lot for a great video.

Tirana surprised us in a good way. We are planning our next trip to this city. In few days we are about to release vlogs from Albania. Yes, there's a lot to show! 😁
