Many thanks, I found my CPU's board was slightly bent up in one corner and wasn't making full contact to all the pins in the socket. Gently straightened it out - all working perfectly now!

Yesssss !!!! worked on my Asus h81m-plus, right ram slot not working, all pins on socket looks good and straight, putted a little paper on left side of processor, looking from above and now ram is working !!!!

Updating bios can fix the suddenly not working ramslot? I think the technician updated my bios w/ different model because before he touch my PC both of my ramslot works very well and he updated my bios from p8h61m-le to p8h61m-lx

wow , i just encounter this kind of problem today. I thought it was because compatibility issue because it replacement cpu ... after reseat and tried with another proc ...the problematic proc works

My Motherboard is Gigabyte h97 gaming 3.؟قبلا دو رم 4 گیگ میذاشتم. اما ویندوز عوض کردم الان وقتی دو تاشو میذارم کامپیتور پشت سرهم خاموش میشه و بالا نمیاد.ولی وقتی یه رم میذارم کامپیوتر روشن میشه بنظرتون مشکل از کجاست
