Nightmode: Swipe down with two fingers on notification area, find the moon icon and push it. Swipe down from anywhere on the homescreen: Tap and hold on a empty space on the homescreen and select "homescreen settings" and activate it. Navigation buttons: Better with buttons than stupid swipe gestures. Dolby Atmos: Ruins the sound in most cases.
Great phone :) Tips: Nightmode: Swipe down with two fingers on notification area, find the moon icon and push it. @@Oystein87 lol hell no the Samsung gestures are easily better and easy more convenient to use than the dumb navigation buttons. Not to mention how much more screen real estate you get with the gestures. They were what I was most excited about on the pie update for my S8
THE first thing I do is enable developer mode, then I change Window animation Scale, Transition animation Scale and Animator duration Scale to .5x Most of the other things I do are as you do.
5:59 'This is the Samsung internet even though I put it as the Google Chrome app I just like the look of that icon better' - Shane O.o WHATTT? Are you kidding me? Btw all the customizations are awesome!
Just got Note 10 + upgraded from the pixel and the back button was on the left so kept clicking the wrong button now with this video I was able to swop them around again nice one ha and the speaker thing sounds so much better thanks again .
Night mode and the nav bar are accessible from the quick settings menu. These functions have dedicated buttons there. If they don't appear, just tap the three dots and choose "button order".
@@ShaneSymonds agreed. the nav bar one is extremely useful in my Tab S4. When I'm writing with the S pen, I use it to disable the nav bar so I don't press anything with my wrist.
That was an amazingly comprehensive review of the Note 10/Note 10+ features. Thank you so much for this! By the way, if I could just insert a quick inquiry: Does the live wallpaper eat up much battery power?
Yes, yes it does. And even more so setting ur screen res to the wqhd setting vs the regular hd u will see a horrible battery drain. I go to work around 630 am By 10am i was near 30% battery life & that was maybe a good hour or so of screen time.honestly its not even noticeably different. The lowest resolution setting on these screens are already so good its kind of useless feature. The dark mode will save battery tho.i use it just bc it looks better but it does save battery.
Hi long time note fan here I also own a note 10 plus I wanted to say you don't need nova launcher to change app icon size just hold down on the screen and go to home screen settings not knocking nova launcher because it's awesome just saying you don't need it to change the app icon sizes
It is just not about the icon sizes. It is about changing the entire icon theme. I know you can also do this in Samesung Themes app but in Nova Launcher, you are able to complete change everything and individually giving you the liberty to use multiple icon packs at the same time.
This is a great video, especially if you see it when you just get a Note 10/Note 10+. I'd already found most until Nova launcher, I used it years ago & had some problems with it crashing but like I said it was years ago. I currently have a theme from Samsung App store which I love so I'm in no rush to change it just yet but I'll bear it in mind. I really like the style & format so you've got a new sub! Getting a new phone is usually an impetuous to have look for different apps to personalise it. If you want something completely different look for Bubble Cloud Widget, it is brilliant! You can cluster together different apps, for example I have one for social media, one for browsers etc. It's hard to describe. It's applied via a widget which you can make as big or small as you wish, forget the grid it isn't one app in a square I've got up to 7 in 3 traditional grid places and I've placed several clusters arranged on my home screens with ample space between them despite one screen having 33 apps on it. It looks awesome, now the standard layout looks old school. You can do the same bubbles for contacts.
If you're not a fan of the hole punch, you can go to full screen apps, hit the three dots top right for advanced settings, click on hide camera cut out. I've seen a good amount of these videos, but haven't seen that one shown yet.
Great video, I figured pretty much all this out myself but this will help a lot of people. It's crazy how a lot of these weren't on by default, makes no damn sense.
Dude you are awesome! I do all the same stuff to my phone as well except I find and sometimes pay for a badass theme which changes my icons and colors for me. But I definitely want to check out the last 3 play store apps you suggested. Great tips, i plan on getting the Star Wars edition Note 10+ because it has different sounds, red and black icons, colors and themes, the phone is black with red buttons, and the pen is red and the case is black leather. My favorite colors are black and red, so i think it's a sign from God... lol great video 👍👏🤘
Superb video. Thank you. I still prefer One UI though. For the Walloop app suggestion, you don't just deserve a like but the Medal of Honour! You have a new subscriber sir.

Don't show stuff on Nova when it is tips and tricks for Note 10 Plus...
Charging speed test video will be dropped tomorrow. I do not have the 45w fast charger (not sure if anybody does yet?) But I'll be testing to see if we can get the super fast charging speeds from a 90w type c charger I picked up on amazon
I bought mine from eBay at £612 in mint grade A condition, but no headphones or charger only cable. That's the Note 10+ with 256Gb storage. One year warranty is given! Still a bargain!
Great video, thanx! Few questions, do these launchers slow your phone down? And how do they compare to the native, samsung themes as they also provide wallpapers, themes, icons etc?
They don't show the phone down, some will actually be more responsive. They have wallpaper and theming support. Check out Nova and RU-vid Android setups
I have my phone on max settings all the time (brightness around 50% as its bright enough) and it lasts around 13 hours on a full charge.. I'm on my phone and playing games and videos all day.
@@KZilla turn on blue light filter and you'll never have to worry about screen burn in ever again. Not to mention it's easier on the eyes. No screen burn in on my S8 after 3 full complete years of heavy use :)
Im thinking buying one, I'm between this one and the recents ones. I've read that this note10 has still better thing than s20 ultra . I'm a pro Photographer, thinking about tethering with this one, showing customer photos on site, big screen to draw. Love those edges lights but at night will they wake u up flashing ?? I have a smart ultra 6 with a middle button notification, which is great but I turn it down to not disturb me while sleeping . About turning the phone down, when set on a table, does it scratch,? Cheers great video.
You can still use the fingerprint without clicking on the screen nor having the always on display on. You can simply put ur finger on the allocated area when the screen is off and it will function.
Thanks for these great suggestions. I already use Nova Launcher and love it. Is there a way to back up the changes you make, especially backing up the changes made with Viral Icon Pack?
Wow this was very informative, thank you so much! I'm a new subscriber. Can you make a video on how to use the different camera modes? I'm new to Samsung, thank you so much!
Misconception: the natural setting is actually more colour accurate while vivid is just there to make u feel like samsung has way more colourful displays... so keep it on normal...
If you like these features, just use them on your device! ;) The S10 offers literally every single feature from this video. Pretty standard One UI stuff that's present on all Samsung flagships since the S9.
Hi Shane, thanks for the great tips. Can you please specify the exact name of the widgets that shows all the small icons right on the Samsung notes. How can I use it the same way for my phone? Thanks
Good video but tip 3 it is not necessary. The phone doesnt need to be touched in the screen or any button for you to unlock with your finger print. With the screen completely black, blocked you just need to touche the screen in the finger print area and it will unlock automatic. So you dont need to turn the always on display mode ON.
probably don't look at comments anymore since over a year old. but figured I'd give it a shot anyway.. have downloaded same wallpaper.. buy the way thanks.. but was wondering if u having same problem or know a fix for wallpaper dissappearing every few days or if phone is restarted for maintance.. thanks.. have subscribed.. good video..
