I've been an open ear bud convert for years and have used two pairs of the original Sony Linkbuds (donut design), and now the Bose Ultra Open. I have to say, the Bose are more expensive than any pair of earbuds should be...but they really are incredible. The sound is full, detailed, bassy enough, and the comfort is on another level; on a subjective note, I think they are way more stylish than the Nothing Ear Open. All that said, I'm really happy that Nothing has entered this category and I'd love to try a pair. At 149$ the Nothing Ear Open wins over the Bose on value alone.
Ok, I've finished watching. Still not entirely sure on these. I work from home for (usually) 3 days a week, with two being in the office. I'm honestly tired of wearing my Epos H6pro's all day whilst working from home and have found my head hurting after a days use. Given your comments, it seems like these would fit my needs 🤔
After Apple Airpods 2 & 3, i am using my Nothing Ear Sticks (also open design) since January 2023 almost daily (for music and up to half-day phone conferences sometimes until the battery running out). I still love my nothing ear sticks since they have a much better sound (specially the base) than the Airpods 3 and they are fitting much better for me. But for lot of people the Airpods do fit better - I guess that's the reason for this new Ear Open, because of the concept they should be more comfortable to wear than regular Buds so they should also fit for Airpods user now 🙂
Curious about how the glasses will work with these. Really good for me cause i have really sensitive ears and over use of airpods and headsets have led to multiple infections in the last couple of years. They seem solid. I dont know how they could work wuth glasses though.
Other Reviews shown, that there is no problem to wear these while wearing glasses. I am on the same boat with ear infections and glasses, so i am very excited to try the headphones out.
What I liked the most was that as those things behind your ears weren't noticeable enough they decided to make it in another color so that they can really stand out but hey at least is grey and not yellow or pink or something like that
the Nothing Ear Open are designed for the Nothing Ear (stick) and Apple Airpod 3 users (without ANC), not for Galaxy Buds and Airpod Pro which are closed systems... I hope you are aware of this?
Those seem really cool, I love open ear headphones, before they ever made those I used to wear plastic banded headphones and I would set them just in front of my ears cause I hated the idea of not being able to hear things around me and I hated buds going into my ears, so when I had seen those were a thing I was thinking of wow I'm not the only one after all 😁
Can you please review the Bigme Hibreak phone and the Boox Tab Ultra C Pro tablet. They are both very interesting new innovative e ink devices that I'm interested in but i love your reviews and want some reviews on those products. Thanks!!! love your videos!!
Seems kinda like a redundant product when they already have the ear stick. I bought those specifically just so I could hear people with the buds still in and it works perfectly.
damn i dont know this will come. i bought the cmf buds pro 2. i like to use open ear bud, i have tried it several times with my friend's ear buds and its fantastic (well, i cant afford to buy this or the sony one right now, lol). the issue for me for regular earbuds is the fatigue that i feel on my ear after several hours of usage( in cmf buds pro 2 case, usualy after 2-3 hours). but im not saying that cmf buds pro 2 is a bad one, been using it for almost 2 weeks now, and i must say, for the price its pretty good, the bass is more than my liking, but i can turn it down to level 1 and i can already enjoy the sound. the simple equalizer is enough for me for my daily use, and i use it when i dont want to mess with cable. if i want to hear music and focus on it, i will just pop my cheap, ol reliable kz zsn ( been using it for 4 years, and its still rockin hard, and it fits nicely in my ear, i dont get much fatigue from kz compared to buds pro 2).
I know you did the mosh trst but would you recommend these for running? I bought the Nothing Phone 2a and ear 2 because of your review, i have a feeling your review on these will cost me more £ 😂👍🏼
Honestly all open type headphones have this problem but is what adds to the natural sound when you can isolate yourself so overall I think it's a positive. I think I just love that the price isn't anything crazy.
3:28 he is holding phone 3 right... because right side you can observe there is in Volume buttons and power button... It kinda look like pixel buttons but not because on pixel phone power button 🔘 is on top and volume buttons are down...
Shame about nothing, I liked a lot of their products and have come to close to buying the Phone 1 and 2 and the earbuds but after Carl decided he wouldn't let his team work from home, a stance and reasoning I don't agree with, I decided I don't want to know about Nothing products anymore, I realise this is probably small fry considering the shit most tech companies do (I wouldn't touch apple with a fucking bargepole by this point) but still, I like to be semi aware when buying tech products so it is what it is.
Tbh I completely got where he was coming from once I read the full reasoning. They are a hardware company, and the in person experimentation and testing is just about necessary for what they do.
Nothing was a fad with the light on their phone, the lack of real innovation is their crutch. They're just another phone company doing phone company things which doesnt make them stand out. The bankruptcy grim reaper awaits...
