I agree! I heard this song on the radio several years back and I tried to find it but after failing I gave up. Then today it came up on my Spotify playlist and I got so excited
When did we become these sinking stones? When did we build this broken home? Holding each other like ransom notes Dropping our hearts to grip our brother's throat You can't see because you don't know You're caught below, beneath your own shadow Stuck inside, half alive Do you ever stop to ask yourself why? Close your mind, identify Do you feel, do you feel? Do you call this a life? All you waited for Drowning just to keep score We always start with good intentions But lose ourselves along the way This is the time that we let it go These are the words that will take us home Singing the song that's inside us all If we don't open our eyes we're walking blind Anchored in anger, we exile ourselves Bitter blood builds our prison cell Darker water now fills our lungs The depths of our heart have blacked the sun You can't see because you don't know You're caught below, beneath your own shadow Stuck inside, half alive Do you ever stop to ask yourself why? Close your mind, identify Do you feel, do you feel? Do you call this a life? All you waited for Drowning just to keep score We always start with good intentions But lose ourselves along the way This is the time that we let it go These are the words that will take us home Singing the song that's inside us all If we don't open our eyes we're walking blind Naked we come, naked we leave Fools we are, to hold tightly We are the jail, we are the key We are free, we are free This is the time that we let it go These are the words that will take us home Singing the song that's inside us all If we just open our eyes This is the time that we let it go This is the pain we are forced to know Singing the song that's inside Inside us all, inside us all Walking Blind
So as I'm sitting there (mind I'm sitting smoking a cig on break, minding my own) apparently a few people could hear what I was listening to (this :D) and let them get in on it and they fell in love. I'm glad I could do my part to spread truly good music \m/
***** Sent you a message but for others that see this....When you subscribe to XM tell them you cant really afford the 200 or whatever they tell you, usually you can get them waaaay down to like $80-$140 a year haha
Avenged2remains +Jeremy Johnson Amen to this. I got my last subscription to XM for $96 a year including tax. I've seen some people get 6 months for $25 with special coupons they send out every now and then. The deals are out there Jeremy and good luck.
***** Just call em and tell them you want to cancel. I did this yesterday. Then they'll transfer you to the retention dept (I don't know what they actually call it). They'll give you a couple of options, just say no. Then they'll give you a deal like 5 months for $25 or something. Just say "oh well, since you're twisting my arm ... :)". Sometimes you may have to actually cancel, but I've never had to do that.
Everyday when driving to work, i listen to the radio and it makes me crazy hearing songs that don't even sound that good, but then THIS song came up today, and it was like a breath of fresh air man!!! This song rocks!!!
I have to admit I changed the song from this a lot on the radio, casually just plugging in my phone and listening to something else. But one day I didn't have my phone and I kinda just let it play. That was a pretty good day.
I have been closely following the music you guys play, here as of late. It's really the only thing that makes me roll over and get out of bed. Some would say I'm weak, but it takes a strong man to live life with a broken heart... As a personal request, I'd seriously like to meet you guys and shake your hands... The song "I'll be okay" has provided much of the strength that I have to get up daily... Life has not been easy this last twelve months.... 2015 is not the year for me.
Kick ass song. I had kept my radio in my car turned off for over a week. I pressed the power button, and this song literally started at the beginning. KUPD, you rock. I'm glad I turned it on yesterday.
I don't listen to the radio much. I go to Pandora or Jango before Jango became gay. I stumbled across this on my pursuit of hearing something new and good by clicking though related videos. My surprise when I found this amazing band. This is grade A stuff. I never expected this, blew my mind
I usually ...don't like this kind of music .I mean I love heavy metal ..but the old stuff . This song .good stuff . Listen to it at least once a day . So glad I gave this song a chance on the radio . Good sound .
I've been searching for this song for DAYS. I was listening to them on the radio and only had snippits of recorded parts to this song. Now I can add it to my playlist!!!
Saw them open for Chevelle in Houston back in April and they were amazing. Met them at the merch booth and they were really down to earth and seemed genuinely thankful for what they have.
The singing and melody in this song is PHENOMENAL!!! Almost brings a tear to my eye for some strange reason...ALMOST Fantastic song, you guys picked up a new fan!!!
Just saw them live yesterday at House of Blues when they were opening for Chevelle. Did not mind at all that they opened for an hour. That might also have been because the singer was shirtless, and boy did he look nice. Aside from that...erm...distraction, his falsetto vocals reminds me of Coheed and Cambria. The whole band has a lot of talent and performs with so much energy! I can't wait to look further into them.
Heard this song on the radio about a month ago, and I've just been obsessed ever since. Absolutely amazing music! Hoping to hear more amazing work like this in future songs and albums!
My husband and I seen you guys @ Louder Than Life in '15. You guys put on a good show and we are happy you guys are coming the The Warehouse in Clarksville,TN Thursday. We'll be in the front row somewhere............
