I am using Notion AI already for quite some time now and use it extensively with those custom AI blocks in templates in my databases for generating random journal prompts, for drafting content ideas or posts. However, the chat unfortunately rarely succeeds for me to find useful answers/insights.
Wonderful! This is gold content for me! I appreciate your dedication and soft comunication with this kind of content, specially about Notion space. New subscriber
Hey Better, I love your content and how you dive deep into Notion's features! 🙌 I wanted to bring up an issue I’ve noticed recently with Notion AI. There used to be this super useful feature where you could interact with AI-generated suggestions multiple times before finalizing them-like moving between different suggestions ("1 of 2", "2 of 2"). It was great for refining text, but it seems to have disappeared in a recent update. I’m wondering if you’ve noticed this too, or if you might know what happened to this feature? It’d be awesome if you could look into it or maybe even address it in one of your upcoming videos. Your insights would be super helpful! Thanks for all you do! 😊
Great video - but I'm having an issue with generation of pie chart you showed. Notion just says this (I typed exactly the same example you did): Apologies, but I'm unable to generate a pie chart as instructed. Notion doesn't support the direct creation of graphs or charts in markdown. However, you can create charts in other applications and insert them as images into Notion, or use a Notion widget or integration that supports chart creation.
I wish we could get more than 20 inquiries on the free plan. I had to use one of those inquiries to find out that I only had 19 left. Then I accidentally entered more text and I felt like I was accidentally asking wishes from a genie. I wanted to yell no that didn’t count.
Hi Simon, I’m a big fan or Notion and yours over the last few years but I’ve had to move away from Notion to Obsidian over security concerns that have been raised. It does seem like a grey area so I’d love to see a video from yourself where you ask Notion directly some questions. I’m sure you’d have a comms route with them. Questions such as do they only get access when we toggle it on or do they always have access and that button is like a consent tick box etc. I wake never want to store passwords or anything majorly sensitive but even goals and journal entries are personal enough that I don’t want anybody to read them. Would be very interested in your thoughts on this. Especially as someone who runs a business and their personal projects through them. Cheers.
It takes more time to update Notion rather than do the tasks listed in the notion. It's a time-wasting tool with recursive links that create chaos at the end. Notion is dead.
This is a classic and fair early response to Notion: but it’s the opposite of how I use it. Yes, a big-ish build or setup with a template can be involved: but I just use my system and it’s saved me months of time as a project, content, client and life manager - all customised to my needs and business. But if a simpler tool is better for you - that’s always the way to go :)
