That Lt was my company commander in bootcamp as a Captain, funny guy. A recruit ended up hitting him when we were doing the gas chamber and he was at first super pissed at the guy but calmed down while the recruit was getting "remediated" in the gas chamber again, and by the time he came out was super calm and talked to the recruit and gave him another chance. Dude fucked it up and said he was going to kill himself like 2 days later.
Small world, smaller Corps. He was my company commander when I broke my wrist in boot because another recruit tripped me. May of 2017. He let me watch him get paperwork in front of a company formation. You were Delta Co in boot?
Wow! That was really impressive! As a retired Soldier I have to admit the Army’s notional exercises were never that intense or professionally executed. I did notice that true to form you Marines complete ignore any notional flanking maneuvers. Good job!
For the air wing, we have notional tech training, where you notionally talk about stuffs and things that nobody would remember, new guys notionally take notes without a clue of what they're writing down, senior guys notionally talk in the background about weekends drunk stories, then at the end, someone notionally ask some notional questions and call it a day.
@@ayyblyat9450 Person of color.. would not be shocked if he picked up 0-5 by now... no hate.. no hate... just sayin.. he seems cool as fuck for joining in on the video...
Ayy marine! 👋👋 (Knife hands) I miss these videos. Y'all should bring them back but as veterans who tell stories embellishing their service... I just need... Something... Feed me my humor!
Reminds me of 'Sergeant's Time' on Thursdays when we'd 'go to the back forty' and then stand around in our battle rattle for the morning in the bone chilling, German wet climate usually hungover from the previous night. At least at the motor pool we could button up in our tracks and 'disappear' pretending to do PMC's.
We notionally hiked to a grenade range where we notionally threw grenades due to the snow at CATC Fuji. Then the next day my squad leader showed us this video.
