God Damn you're stupid. You know NOTHING about rap on any level and you can't even make up something that sounds even remotely smart. Doesn't being this level of stupid hurt?
That's the best you got? You've embarrassed yourself. BIG would cry for you, lol. It probably won't sink in for a while how stupid your remarks are; and that's the way with young pups, I guess...
@@Kappadon1226 oh for sure. The raw talent was always there. It’s just I know how fresh they were at this time and how much better they got over time!!!
You know nothing about hip hop. Its not your fault though, its your race. I'll educate you real quick, JADA killed, murdered and bodied it. Big was ok here. Nothing more. No need for you to respond. You've been educated, take your L and move on.
real hiphop heads know whrre that line came from :D i bunp the lox dblock all day but ill be honest being almost 30 i came here cus a dblock interview that recommend
Davesylvin Decker II i never even knew this song from lox up till this year lol im not gonna front as i heard dblock more after ruff ryder era but they the best group in history
Davesylvin Decker II even then i bought puff daddy no way out album in elementary i didnt even know who jada styles sheek were but they were on the album damn that was back in 90s
Was in the club on 246 warburton ave Yonkers N.Y. in 1996 when they played this and a few other L.O.X./Bad Boy songs that were not released yet. It was so live in that little club.
damemphizundaground lox first official song on bad boy. Jada recently said Big was dissin the lox on his verse bc Puff was gassing them up so much to him.
This was made as the first LOX and BIG collab with the LOX being the label freshman and BIG being the Premier Artist, so BIG went last, aiming his opening lines at the LOX to let them know whose who at Bad Boy. True story.
I recall being in 8th grade, just before the summer of 96 hearing this song while in the back of a rusted out station wagon driven by my friend's older cousin. We skipped school for "national bowl day", and thought we were cool to say the least. Let's just say I still remember getting chills when Biggie's verse came on, was a nice surprise. And these were the days before we had internet and access to songs on demand. 22 years later, I'm here listening to it a second time.
Big was ok? How many he influenced. How many said after his shit dropped regardless if it was a feature or on a mix tape they felt like they had to step it up. Life after Death masterpiece hands down!!!
"Niggaz talking but ain't living" line was directed at the Lox. Lox talked about that in that drink champs interview. Cool story. BTW Biggie is STILL the GOAT!!
Once a year I get in a biggie mode , I love this verse. 22 years and there’s been some good ones but how is there not anyone who’s come close to biggie ? The charisma that you feel coming thru the lyrics will never be matched , biggie to rap was the rock to wrestling
Same!!! I always have a period where I just go back and binge on Biggie he was just different. The whole package. Rhymes, word play, intricate rhyming schemes, flawless flow, rap voice and charisma on the track. Still the King. 🤴🏿👑
IMO only one close is, ironically, Kiss. Hov has his own little cadence but it’s kinda light, even in some of the harder tracks he does. I feel like Big always cuts through his verses and I always get the same excitement to hear Jada
Tbh Sheek Louch’s verse was CRAZY!!!! I was 11 years old when this dropped & my big cousin use to play this song all the time when I was over my aunt’s house... Hood times
I miss this era badly . Y'all just won't understand. This will forever be a classic. I got this on repeat . I been listening to this song since I was 10 years old and I'm almost 40 now. This song will never get old to me 🔥🔥🔥
Man just think about all the classics we were robbed of. You no big and Nas would have eventually worked together just think about that. A big and Nas album produced by preem. I lose sleep over it
Listening to Biggie is just like me listening to my music mentor Jimi Hendrix. I always wanna smoke some str8 up piff while he spits that sick sh!t. R.I.P B.I.G ❤
Every rap song these days sounds the same. In the 90s we were blessed with so many different styles and beats…Never mind the greatest of all time. The Notorious B.I.G.
