Many of us had shitty childhoods, but many did not grow up to exploit children. She is a monster.

I am always amazed how rich criminals are always humanized regardless of their crimes regardless of the fact that they had all the opportunities in the world to be good people. Yet, the poor are the scum of the world and deserve to die for the smallest of crimes even though they were dealt with some of the hardest obstacles in life.

After a terrible 2022, shell-dazed monetary supporters have incidents to recuperate and a ton to consider, as an extension report and a heap of various data did not near anything to change suppositions that the National bank would likely continue to climb intrest rates whether or not the economy tones down, And that suggests more red ink for portfolios for the chief quarter of year 2023. No one is a victim that hurts or abuses children. And just cos you're abused when your young isn't an excuse to hurt children or anyone else when you are a grown up. Everyone has choices

She believes she's above everyone else and did not care about what this trauma would do to young girls, she's extremely selfish and still very privileged, she has friends still willingly to help her hide from her crimes. This woman took her victimized self and turned it into criminal behavior that hurt and destroyed many young lives.

Growing up rich and privileged, one gets accustomed to seeing low-class persons as plentiful, useful and disposable when no longer needed.

You went from Maxwell being dirt poor to living in a mansion, you missed a huge section of the story

I don't like this coverage. Not at all. Whoever ran this documentary obviously wanted to paint Ghislaine in a victim's light. It's ironic and frankly disgusting.

This woman is a monster! don't ever paint her as an angel!

“Her entire life was about trying to get his acceptance.” No sympathy. Whatsoever. Heard the same thing from both of my parents. No excuse to do XYZ. That’s just evil. Pure evil, which there is no excuse for not reasoning that needs to back up those actions.

This is disgusting. I knew as soon as I saw who posted this video that it would inevitably be bias, but never did it cross my mind that big media would actually try and humanize this woman. Interesting take on a person involved in what's probably the biggest scandal in national history.

For everyone saying that this documentary is trying to paint Ghislane as a victim is missing the point. Just like documentaries that cover the early life of serial killers, leading up to their crimes, this is simply giving a backstory to her upbringing & events that lead up to her doing the things that she did. The lose of her father, combined with the negative aspects of her personality, turned her into what she became. Like the saying goes "Hurt people hurt people...."

How to create a narcissist. "It's almost like there's 2 different Ghislaines". Narcissists always have 2 versions of themselves: 1) The fake public version which wears the narc mask, they try hard to appear like a wonderful, immaculate person to the world, so they can fool everyone. 2) The true, private, hidden, evil version, the real them.

Stop attempting to paint her as the victim. She is an evil elite. Her whole life was rolled out in front of her like a red carpet. She never worried for one day about where she would sleep or when she would eat. Never had to worry where her next salary would come from. Many kids grew up in poverty and much less privileged. I’m an adult survivor of rape and incest I am also an adult survivor of stalking assault and elder abuse so don’t try to tell me I should be given a break for any crime I may have committed ( I haven’t ) I don’t care who believes this my son does I’m a retired nurse who now resides in an assisted living facility where I’m yet again facing elder abuse I have absolutely no sympathy for this vile woman I could have turned to be a complete different human being.

The damage was done in the first 3-4 years of her life. There was zero chance for her. She became just the monster that she was raised by.

As a psychotherapist, her history is very important to document. Some of what I hear in this video are valid explanations for her actions today. Not all people treated this way end up like her but many do.

She was badly abused in some way in spite of her financial privilege. It's not an excuse but people who did what she did are usually internally tormented in some way.

I am a friend of Ghislaine. Shocked that she is being jailed. We wanted to "Save the Oceans". She sent out emails weekly. Tired of this "Witch Hunt" !!!!!

This was a pointless documentary. We wanted the truth. Not a background story on her. That was irrelevant. Tell us the stories of the victims. How did Ghislaine Maxwell play her part. Give us the truth. Stop sweeping it under the rug.

Wow she’s was actually a spitting image of her father. Age old trauma and search for acceptance trumping your morals. So sad for all the victims but for her as well. She could have chosen to use her privilege for good.
