I am an ardent admirer of Emily and have followed all of her You Tube segments. I must admit to being somewhat disappointed by the recent NOTP series. Perhaps the nature of the venue required it but I did not like the exaggerated hand flourishes, the bouncing on the piano and other actions. The musical choices were also uninspired, with some exception, and not up to the standards that Emily has previously set. I love her classical music performances and her jazz style of composing and playing but have had enough of the Bumble Bee. Emily perhaps you should rein back some of your public performances and concentrate on composing and broadening your classics repertoire. Film scoring should also be a priority. I await your next CDs no matter the genre. You have a great talent and seem to be a lovely person. I hope you continue to be the wonderful person that we have admired since you were a little girl.
I viewed some more segments of the NOTP events. Emily it seems that you were having a great time interacting with the other performers and it was a happy time. I am glad that you were having fun which is as it should be
