That Notre Dame marching band is phenomenal! Even if Notre Dame didn't have a stand-out football team (instead of the legendary Fighting Irish), their marching band would break the mold. Three cheers for the Fighting Irish Marching Band!
Mine also. Longview, Texas. Search Longview Lobo Band 1980 We had a ND Alum that would get in his car each Friday night and drive to somewhere in Missouri that he could get the game on the radio and he would sit in a hotel and listen to the game. that is a FAN !
Great story. I loved to listen to games on the radio, the sound of static cracking through,I would wonder if there was a storm between me and my hometown of Southbend.
This is such a cool perspective to hear each of the band sections pass by your camera and different sounds that make up the greatest team fight song in history. (This, from a lifelong Buckeyes fan, too!)
As a European I can only be impressed with the ethic/ policy that allows all and everybody to take part - in Europe there is a disastrous class thing which dictates that certain folk will be favoured. In America, its still what U can do not who U know, who U belong but what U aspire to - go ND, each is a genius, each is precious, each has an abundance to offer - together we are prodigy ! Go!
I play trumpet in my band at my school and whenever I hear the trumpets in this, I just think it's awesome because I can't really reach the really high notes. I wish I could play as good as them
ng holyoke high.. why?? because john shea who wrote the words, while his brother the music were from holyoke and went on to become our senator. best fight song in all sports PERIOD!!!!

those were the softest Sousaphones I've ever heard in my entire life. I thought the Big ten was suppose to bring it. Fellas and ladies, grow some balls and play out on the effin Sousaphone!!!
@bradykim8438 Since I've grown in the past 10 years and have become an Oldman, I still don't agree. They should have played out more and articulated better. But, I appreciate their effort, I can tell they were trying.
@@TS175 Now that I rewatch the clip you’re kinda right, I’m used to hearing bands as a whole so I agree. That camera should have been blown away when they passed haha.
Hey friends, TEAM ROCKNE is growing! Can you help us spread the word? Even if you can't purchase a T-shirt can you share this link with your friends and family and ask them to do the same? We are planning to accept pictures from supporters wearing their t's and create a huge collage for Rockne. Something to show him the size of his TEAM and just how far his TEAM reaches. There is also a short video within the booster site that shows some of Rockne's story up until relapse; I think you'll enjoy it. Thank you all for your support and PLEASE don't forget to hit that SHARE button. www.booster.com/team-rockne-heart-of-a-champion
