Nottingham Goose Fair Vlog October 2022 

Right now Charlotte must be living her best life, getting married, new house and able to travel the world visiting theme parks with her fiance as her job!!!

Great to see The Goose fair back. I used to live in Nottingham this was always a highlight, as was the Riverside Festival along the Trent river at West Bridgford. Lots of repeat rides though this year by the look of it? Wish we had more unique machines like the European fairs do and a bigger variety. But great to see the event back.

Ride The Bull, Ride The Bull so funny and entertaining. The guy on the mic was epic for this ride. Ice Jet just amazing how that thing goes. I think it also only one of two that actually goes backwards too. All those lasers, leds and smoke machines adds to the effects. I believe this was PTVlogs favourite ride at the fair. Amazing Vlog. I enjoyed watching the ride the bull it was hilarious. Charlotte such a lovely person and great sport. Think some of the prices for rides quite expensive. The lights look amazing and very entertaining. Thankyou for putting a smile on our face.

Great to see you both enjoying my local fair! The haunted house walk through normally has a dressed up actor at the end that catches people out! Apparently Tagadas are banned in nottingham? Back in the day their was alot more variety big ben drop tower, zipper, rapids, log flume, a boxing ring which the public could participate! Etc. Back in the 90s their was a one off mobile MACDONALDS!!

Spooky house always comes to our hometown fair. Bit rubbish really but finding ya way round in the dark with 2 kids is always fun! 😅

I shed a tear as your were walking down the trader area at the start - brought memories flooding back as if i was there! Goose was the first and only fair my and my farther got separated, it was a costumed character dressed as mr blobby in the trader area at the time that caused me to run off from my dad. Luckily he taught me well and i knew to ask a ride opp or go to one of the abundance or police stands on site. That might be good to mentions in future vlogs about lost children and property, maybe do an on park/field safety segmant as yours and Charlotte's future and the channels progress x

Quite annoyed i went a day after you guys! Also parked at hucknall and came down just as it was getting dark, perfect timing for an amazing atmosphere, and the rides were just unbelievable!

High Roller was originally fitted with similar cars to King Loops and Crazy Shake, only lasted in that format for, i think 1 season before having the cars it has now fitted.

I really enjoyed this fair with my family , this was my first fair and it was amazing too🤩

Was going to go this year for a walk around and some food, but caught Covid. I’ve just moved to Nottingham to start University at uni of notts! It’s going great, I’m heading down with my friends on Saturday, cannot wait! I love how all the small fairs come together, my home town (Ashby) had a small fair last weekend which I can see some of the rides there!

The fair normally comes back for bonfire night on Forrest fields. Although it's a smaller version of goose fair.

10:25 High Roller used to have Mondial shake style inverting gondolas from the factory but they were short lived and replaced with these more conventional gondolas

My daughter LOVED the bull ride at Dorset steam rally the other year - wasn't there this year alas. Seems to be a lot of the rides that were at Dorset this year too.

My hometown fair! been to Goose fair every single year (except when it was shut during covid, of course). I learn to drive a car when i was 15 on the forest car park as well (part of the Goose fair site). And used to ride my motorbikes there since i was 6 to about 14/15.

Really interesting vlog, really enjoyed. Look forward to seeing Hull Fair video at some point next a.k.a in future. Thought at one point the crazy mouse was non spinning one and one like Chessington's Rattlesnake? Was there one of them there? Or was it only the spinning mouse ones? Got a good selection of flat rides there, the bulls were amazing. Poor Charlotte needing support on US New York themed attraction, really get pushed into the side on those and I know because I have experienced these types before. I have also experienced the types where it swings you up on your side, went on one at Margate when it was all concrete. Really interesting type of rides, plenty of ghost trains there, prefer honestly the car track ones as with them you pass through scenes quickly, where's with walking yes your taking your time, but also slow going through, hated the Annabel doll, freaky lol. But overall, apart from this. Good video. Cheers. 😀👍

Great to see you both going to the Goose fair, I'm going on Friday I'm 51 years old now and still go on the rides with my son I can't wait to try Ice Jet its the fastest Matterhorn ride I've ever seen, will you both be going to Ilkeston Fair this year? Not been there for ages just come back from 4 days in Blackpool sadly felt crap when I left turned out it was COVID yes I love funfairs at night used to love it as a kid in the early 70s hence winter wonderland I always do pm slot great video

I live reasonably close to goose fair( literally 10min drive) and I've been longing to go ever since 2019,it's a joy that this year it is on and for 9 days!
