Before finding your video, I had been debating between the two chairs you compared side by side. Your review was very helpful in ultimately going with the Rewind. Used your Affiliate/Discount code to say thanks. Also, nice editing & flow/vibe to your vids. Good luck on your channel. :)
Hi Jason! I’m so happy this video helped you make your decision. I think you’ll really like the Rewind. Also, thank you so much for using my link, supporting my channel, and the positive feedback
Thank you sooo much! :) Yes - I wish it reclined forward! The 90ish degree angle it sits at when it’s all the way up is great for those who already sit pretty straight but I’m prone to hunching over a little bit so I do wish it was able to come forward more. I don’t know if that’s necessarily a con though or a if it’s pro for forcing me out of my bad habit lol, but that’s my one critique!
You’re welcome! I’m still loving it :) I use it everyday. My only complaints are still that it attracts a lot of pet/human hair and the mint color is easy to get dirty. Due to the material being more of a fabric rather than plastic mesh it’s a bit harder to clean (I’m an artist so I have to be super careful)!
@@hurricanehao i am artist as well, the kitchen chair I've been using has been doing a number on my back. Do you find it comfortable after 5/7+ hours session?
@@challengerex6320 I would say so! I work 6-8 hours in front of the computer 5 days a week. With that said, I can only speak to how it does with my body frame - you can find my measurements in the description to see if you'd have a similar experience.
Thanks for the great review. Would you prefer the Rewind or the Ergo 3D? Also, I am 6ft, so do you think the footrest will still be long enough? Thanks so much!
You're welcome! I prefer the Rewind because of the footrest (it should be fine for people up to 6'2 according to their site). My partner doesn't need the foot rest with his Ergo3D and instead uses a foam rest that sits on the floor to elevate his feet since he doesn't lean back much in the chair when he's working. Your feet will probably hit the floor though since you're taller. So, up to your preferences! Some things to consider: -The Rewind is 100 pounds heavier so gliding in the Ergo3D is more fun -The Rewind is more sleek so it might look better in smaller office spaces Hope that helps :)
@@hurricanehao It did, thank you! I went ahead with the purchase and used your code. I noticed buying direct was cheaper than Amazon. Also, shipping was free and there was no tax. Total price with discount was $360. Thanks again!
Great vid! I'm chair shopping and this vid helps so much. Only question: the seat depth isn't adjustable right? Was this an issue for you? I'm 5'6" but have shorter legs like a person who is 5'4". Thanks!
Question. How "grippy" is the fabric? I got a used Aeron B. I am finding it lacking. One problem is, the back rest doesn't come up all the way across my back. I weigh about 250lbs and it's a bit small. The other problem is, the fabric is slippery. So I am constantly sliding forward. I had to put a Purple butt pad on the seat to prevent me sliding out of it. Thanks
Hey! I don’t think it’s very grippy. It feels a lot like traditional upholstery fabric to me. I will say that it is on the larger side for someone with my frame (5’5, 115~ lbs) so I have to really lean back into the chair for my back to touch the back of the chair, which leaves my feet dangling. So you might find that it fits you well? I also have never had an issue sliding forward (like I do on the Ergo 3D) because on how level the base is. Hope that helps a bit!
I think it’s pretty breathable! The ergo 3D is a little more breathable because it has bigger holes. Compared to the material on the gaming chair though, I haven’t had the same sticking/sweating issues while wearing shorts. And you’re welcome :)
Okay hate to comment again however it’s the first day for me it’s a little uncomfortable how long did it take for you to break in etc. I’m almost tempted to get a Aeron for around the same price as this why is chair hunting so difficult lol
No worries! I agree that when I first got it I wasn’t used to how firm it was but after noticing how much better my back is doing on a firm chair rather than a cushiony one, I decided to keep it. It doesn’t bother me anymore but I think it’s different for everyone. Ultimately, you should do what’s best for you :) just be mindful of the return window (I think it’s 30 days)
I've been thinking of getting this chair after a long search. How is it now? Do you still like it? Is it good for sitting at, like 5-6 hours every night? Thanks a lot!
Hi Hao, thanks for your review; I have a question. I am only 5.2 tall. Would it fit my back? And also the lumber, would it be beyond my reach? Thank you~
Hi Jessica! I’m not sure to be honest. I will say that if I was a little shorter (I’m 5’5) it may not be ideal for me because the head rest on the lowest setting works well for my height. Unfortunately you may just have to try it out :( sorry I couldn’t be more helpful!
Great video, thanks! Looking to buy a Nouhaus ErgoFlip soon. Shout out to the Vietnamese community in the OC, CA (maybe you're not there but a shout out anyway 😎)
Hi, does your chair lock in the upright seated position? Just bought the same chair and it doesn't seem to lock other than in the reclined positions. Trying to figure out if mine came damaged but Nouhaus isn't responding. I would really appreciate any help as I'm about to return it, which is a shame cause everything else is perfect.
Hi Robert! It should lock in the upright position for sure. The lever should be able to rotate clockwise into locking position whether the chair is upright or reclined. If yours isn’t then I definitely recommend reaching out to them for a replacement!
@@hurricanehao Yeah, it’s not working, thank you so much for taking the time to respond. We also have the same printer. Good luck with the channel, I’m subscribed. 👍
Hi thanks for asking! I love it! It’s been a huge improvement from my last chair. My favorite position is sitting in it reclined and it a footrest out. My back doesn’t hurt after my workday anymore since it contours to my spine so well. And I can lay all the way back and nap during my breaks hehe. Let me know if you have specific questions. I’m happy to answer :)
