The person posting this song should acknowledge the original singer/composer legendary Mohamad Abdulwahhab recorded in 1928 and writer great poet Ahmad Chawki, following a visit to Zahle Lebanon.
+Kamel DAYEKH I know, as you see I have translated the poem of Ahmed Shawqi into English, look plese to the following comment, thank you very much for your gentle reaction
Love xxxxx.
I don't understand a word of this..(I wish I did)...but the energy, the body movements (synchronized to perfection)...the beauty of the woman...and OF COURSE..her melodic voice...KEEPS ME watching this. Everyone who FEELS...MUST observe. I am in love. Hypnotized. Thanks for allowing others to enjoy.
Allah Yarhamha. The best execution of a beautiful poem with a beautiful voice in the most beautiful language.
This woman is as close as any human being can get to be an angel, out of this world. Just watch her constant gaze upward into the sky, as if she's eyeing where she comes from. I'm one who firmly believes in reincarnation, but this women is an exception. I don't believe she will be returning to this material realm ever again. Besides this once-for-all-eons performance, I don't know what else could any human being ever accomplish in millions of lifetimes in this materium (or material universe)!!!
Yes, the best improvisations, the most beautiful modulations, and so enormously moving mawals, Chawki's poem "Ya Jarata Alwadi" and Abdelwahab's composition, could wish for, by Nour Alhouda, the prestigious Diva of the Tarab of Yesteryears! May all three of them R.I.P.! Mo
