Ron, if you check my list of videos I have a few videos from the bank as well. A lot of my bank fishing I do at night which is super tough to video but I will try for some more in the future. I also encourage people to look into Jon boats as well. Fairly inexpensive and gets you to the remaining 95% of lakes instead of the bank which can be limited for public access.
You running straight braid? Also what size blade bait you using. That’s a whole new concept to me. Do you rig it in the middle hole for yo-yo retrieve? Thanks as always!
I use Venom Lures 20lb braid with a 6ft fluorocarbon 8lb leader. I'm using a 1/4oz Venom Lures Vibramax blade bait and I either use the middle or back hole. Back gets better action but also tangles on itself a little more. The fire tiger or purple worked best for me.
Tyler, are you launching out of North shore or Fairfield Beach? I hear a lot of people are doing well at the channel across the lake from the north shore ramp.
I just started fishing from crystal beach at the point on the bank but I wanna catch a fish Ohio saugeye and I keep seeing ppl pull up to the ramp with monsters my pb is 19 inches so far lol
